The Young and the Restless promo for the week of January 20th thru 24th indicates that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) interferes in Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) budding romance, Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) anger boils over, and Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle kiss.

In a clip from the promo, Chance is seen asking if Phyllis is asking him on a date. She responds by asking if he’s curious.

Phyllis’ attraction to Chance hasn’t gone unnoticed by Abby. During a talk with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Abby talks about how she and Chance have been seeing each other. She also mentions that Phyllis is also interested in Chance.

Abby has shown she’s not intimidated by Phyllis and isn’t going to back down. Abby likes Chance and she’s going to do whatever she has to do to keep Phyllis from interfering in their relationship.

The question is will Chance remain with Abby or will he give in to Phyllis’ flirtation?

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle reaches his breaking point

Kyle has a lot of anger towards his cousin/former best friend Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Tension has been rising between the two men because of Theo’s friendship with Kyle’s wife Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).

Kyle believes that Theo is trying to manipulate Lola and his wife doesn’t see what’s going on. Even Mariah brings up the fact that Theo blatantly hitting on Kyle’s wife.

This week Kyle’s anger boils over when he punches Theo. The incident takes place in Society’s kitchen in front of Lola.

During an emotional discussion, Lola and Kyle argue about Theo. She continues to defend him much to Kyle’s chagrin. Lola admits that she believes Theo does have a crush on her, which infuriates Kyle. However, she’s quick to point out that Summer has a thing for Kyle.

After punching Theo and arguing with Lola, Kyle leaves for his business trip with Summer.

The two are in a hotel room having a few beers. They then sit down on the couch and Kyle opens up about his marital problems. Summer listens, then tells Kyle she just wants him to be happy. Soon the two exes are locking lips.

Kyle and Summer’s kiss now changes things, and it leads to more questions.

Will Kyle tell Lola about the kiss? Will he stay with Lola or reunite with Summer?

Whatever happens the quadrangle between Summer/Kyle/Lola/Theo is just heating up.
