To the delight of the fans, Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) is returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin, on ‘The Young and the Restless’ on October 25. Amid many affected characters, how will Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) life be impacted?

As viewers have seen, the attorney who is, or who believes she’s representing Chance Chancellor’s (as last played by John Driscoll) challenge of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will genuinely didn’t know that she resembled Devon’s late wife.

Just as James’ character naturally was shocked by Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) striking resemblance to Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial role on Y&R), so too will Lily be stunned. As was true for her brother, emotions will be strongly provoked.

Khalil voluntarily opted to go to recurring contract status, which led to Lily’s imprisonment for the accident she caused that led to the death of ‘Hevon’s’ unborn child and days later, Hilary.

The heartbreaking trial including some of Khalil’s best work in recent years. The longtime soap star then delivered a terrific series of performances as Lily decided that ‘Lane’ reached its end.

Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) bludgeoning in Las Vegas, Nevada, appears primed to be coupled with Lily’s comeback. Hopefully, Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) are written back along with Lily, as they’ve been said to have been living with their mother. Both fine young actor’s reappearances would enhance the story.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Is A Mystery

Who is Amanda, exactly? It would seem hard to believe that she simply resembles Hilary, rather than eventually proving to be her identical twin sister.

Lily’s return to GC will surely push this part of Amanda’s story and possibly, backstory along, as what likely will be a long arc plays out. An easy projection would have Devon breaking from Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) as time flows.

Miss Winters began patching personal matters up with her brother due to their father’s unexpected death. That healing process will probably continue, with Lily again offering solicited, or unsolicited advice to Devon about his matters of the heart.

Fans would be right to think that Lily will oppose any potential connection that he might develop with Amanda for reasons that are similar to those that surrounded Hilary. Yes, trust and drama points will be stressed once more.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Neil Winters’ Presence Remains

The loss of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) removed the closest family confidant Lily had, due to the divorce from Cane. As noted, she did begin repairing her relationship with her brother though.

The prominent photo of Neil that sits on Devon’s countertop at the penthouse is a reminder of St. John’s soul. Hopefully, both of Neil’s children will allow their father’s ongoing presence to fully heal their sibling break.
