The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Adam And Victor’s Plot Backfires

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are determined to use their new business venture as a weapon. The former Cyaxares is now Newman Media, which will be initially used to attack Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) thought she stole that business deal from her father and disliked her youngest brother. But Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) reneged, which gave Victor and Adam the ability to go after Billy-boy as they intended.

Billy, using Chance Com, believed that he was in on the Cyaxares deal as well. He failed in that effort and lost the consolation prize of having Victoria shield him from whatever Victor and Adam are plotting.

Adam couldn’t deny the dirt Billy put out, as it was all true. A particularly bad piece of personal history covered how he stole Faith Newman (as now played by Reylynn Caster) from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), her last name at the time when she was born. Another stunner included the reveal that Adam had killed a man when he was eleven years old.

The Kansas story actually served to heal Adam’s relationship with his father and even to spark a bond with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). However, Adam and his father know that Billy’s intent was to hurt both of them, which is why they are seeking revenge now.

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Alienated From Some Family Members

Victoria heads Newman Enterprises, as she tersely reminded her father earlier this spring. He isn’t happy with his first-born child, as he feels she disrespected his initial suggestion that she buy Cyaxares in order to reestablish a media presence. Victor also is angry that Victoria tried to interfere in his deal with Ashland.

Fans recall that one of Victoria’s first moves as the Chief Executive Officer at Newman Enterprises was to sell off the company’s media asset. Billy folded that into Chance Com and then used it to go after Adam.

So, Victor and Adam’s targeting of Billy will cause Victoria to stand with the man she still considers to be the love of her life. Billy is with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Victoria might engage in more than a flirtation with Ashland if necessary, but Villy is still her personal revival goal.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Still Linked To The Past

No matter how committed Billy is to Lily and he is, Victoria remains a very important person in his life. No other woman, other than Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton), has a greater influence in his life.

Lily is mature and secure. But she recognizes that Victoria’s pop-up appearances, which project to also include her helping Billy to fight back against Newman Media, are covered for regular access to Thompson’s character. And with that, Billy is and may never be totally free from Victoria’s influence.
