The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is dealing with his wife as though she’s a business rival. His custody offer is also contingent on a false premise.

Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) has to convince Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that he can never have contact with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) again. That’s a non-starter, as Kyle is apparently Harrison’s biological father.

The word apparently was used because it could be possible that the paternity test Kyle had conducted either produced a false result or was rigged to make him appear to be Harrison’s father. However, if the boy truly is Kyle’s son, then the legal system should award Kyle some form of custody.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Is Fearful

The reason why Ashland is offering a take it or leave it deal is obvious. He fears that Kyle’s connection to Harrison threatens the bond he’s developed with the child he thought was his own.

Tara is fearful as well. She believes that her husband’s business and political ties will sway whatever judge determines this case. One would assume the matter would be settled in New York, where Ashland supposedly has many people in his pockets. But is that really the case?

Reputations are just that, subjective. So, Ashland can’t be certain of his power on The Young and the Restless. He’s acting differently than when he filed for divorce and sought a court order, which gave him access to Harrison. In those instances, he didn’t need to offer Tara anything. Now he is and that’s telling.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Defends His Own

Kyle inherited strong family values from both of his parents. If his mother, Diane Jenkins (Maura West), were still alive she would be fully supporting Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) family right’s stance.

Harrison is Kyle’s son. Therefore, Ashland should (or will) have no say in whether he is allowed to be with him. Tara should only have as much say as Kyle in their child’s welfare.

Tara wants Kyle to be part of Harrison’s life. While Ashland’s threat is unnerving, it won’t deter Kyle from fighting for his flesh and blood.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tara Locke Wants What Is Best

Harrison should be the center of attention. But his mother and father, meaning Ashland, are battling right now. That’s to be expected, following the Tyle connection that was recently acknowledged.

However, Tara is a good mother. So, she wants what’s best for her only child. Her belief is that Ashland should remain a part of Harrison’s life and that Kyle should be a part of it as well.

The above outcome is likely to happen. But this is daytime, so extended drama needs to play out first.
