The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the fantastic news that Bryton James who plays Devon Hamilton on the Genoa City, Wisconsin based soap, has a new project to talk about, one that involves one of his former Y&R co-stars. In the new and exciting venture on the horizon, James will team with Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters) on her web series The Rich and the Ruthless.

James will play Traque in Season 4 set to premiere in 2021.

The Rich and the Ruthless is a comedy series created, produced and directed by Victoria Rowell and stars Rowell and Richard Brooks. The six-episode first season debuted on the streaming service Urban Movie Channel in 2017. On August 24, 2017, the series was renewed for a second season and the third season premiered on May 23, 2019.

In Genoa City Dru and Devon were connected when she reached out to the troubled young man. She herself had been a troubled youth and she wanted to help him in any way she could.

Eventually he became a part of the family with Dru’s SO Neil Winters (Kristoff St. James) becoming Devon’s dad. Devon has made quite a name for himself over the years, becoming a successful businessman and marrying the love of his life.

Unfortunately both his personal and professional lives were rocked by unexpected circumstances. His wife Hillary Winters (Mishael Morgan) died tragically and at one point his fortune was stolen. But things are definitely looking up with the addition of Hillary’s twin Amanda Sinclair in his life.

Devon and Amanda are growing closer as she confronts her past. She has found her biological mother and the whole scenario has been overwhelming for her. Luckily she has Devon to hold her hand and help her through it.
