The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Devon Needs Family – Fen Set To Stream

Fen (Zach Tinker) has a good voice and vibe on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Ana (Lauren Lott) sensed that, though Devon (Bryton James) was not pleased with his SORAS’d sister’s methods in the least.

James’ character has had, in Devon’s actual words, “…a rough year.”, which no one disputes. However, Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) death, which resulted due to injuries she suffered in a car accident, doesn’t give Mr. Hamilton an open license to treat anyone, most especially his recently returned (and recast) sister, badly.

Said vehicle incident also took the life of ‘Hevon’s’ unborn child and resulted in Lily (Christel Khalil) being sentenced to twelve months in prison. So, everyone has been cutting Devon slack. But the absolution period granted to his grieving period is sputtering.

Separately, whether fans are actually hearing Tinker’s voice through the beat of what could be Fen’s first hit is hard to determine. It’s likely, if not certain, that a recorded soap opera would have any actor, including one that is a singer, lay down a track ahead of time. Doing so would avoid flubs and present the best possible sound to the audience.

It would be cool to confirm that this likable new actor is a real singer, as is the deeply talented Lott. Y&R fans are aware that her ‘American Idol’ days played a part in this casting. Hopefully her melodic voice is heard in the near future, as Lott, through Ana, will be terrific.

Devon knows what he wants for LP Streaming, that’s why he briskly told Ana to get a contract for Fen to sign. Doing so evoked memories of his grandmother, Katherine (played by Y&R’s greatest-ever actor, Jeanne Cooper), Tucker (played by daytime icon, Stephen Nichols), and Harmony (also known as Yolanda, as played by another daytime icon, Debbi Morgan). Each person’s genetics and presence helped to form Devon’s character.

It’s time for Y&R to write Devon’s parents back into this show. Ana is helping him to heal, but it seems like she’ll need help in forwarding the process. Possibly, Y&R’s behind-the-scenes changes will allow Nichols and Morgan to return, as Tucker and Harmony need to help their son.
