The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Devon Needs More Family Support – Could Harmony and Tucker Head To GC?

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Devon Needs More Family Support - Harmony and Tucker Need To Be There For HimIt’s great that Ana (Loren Lott) is in Genoa City on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But what about Devon’s (Bryton James) biological parents? Harmony (Debbi Morgan) and Tucker (Stephen Nichols) need to be there for their son.

Morgan and Nichols are iconic daytime stars. Morgan became famous through her portrayal of Angie on the beloved, departed ‘All My Children’. She was last seen as Harmony (whose original character name was Yolanda and was initially played by Chene Lawson) in 2012.

Tucker’s portrayal of Steve (‘Patch’) on ‘Days of our Lives’ made his soap mark. He last appeared on Y&R in 2013.

It stands to reason that Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) voluntary move to Lakewood, so he could be with Lily (Christel Khalil), created the need for Devon to have other loved ones in his life. That’s why the reach-out (and recast) of Ana makes total sense. However, Devon will need more support to make it through what has become the toughest time in his life.

As Devon told his psychiatrist, the loss of Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and ‘Hevon’s’ unborn child represents one element of his devastation. Having Lily be responsible for the accident that eventually caused Hilary’s death added an infinite gut-punch.

Then, Neil and Cane (Daniel Goddard) began pressuring Devon to forgive his sister. On top of that, Shauna (Camryn Hamm), who was a positive link to Hilary’s life, was taken from him via a forced moved back to Colorado. At least, that’s how Devon sees it.

Y&R fans must be wondering if Harmony and Tucker even know what Devon is going through. It’s natural that someone, including James’ character, would have contacted them after Hilary’s tragic demise.

Knowing that Morgan isn’t working another daytime show and that Nichols is currently off-contract at Days, it’s plausible to believe that one, or both characters could be written back into the show, even if just for short stints. Devon needs his biological parents so that his chances of healing can increase. Harmony and Tucker weren’t always around when Devon needed them, which is another reason why these characters can and should be revived.
