The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Eileen Davidson Suffers a Loss
This is the tribute she posted about her beloved pet: “We had to send our LOVED DOGGO Charlotte off a couple days ago and we are all gutted. Loved our moomers beyond and so grateful for everything she brought to our lives. What a spirit. She fought to stay with us until her body gave out. Special thanks to #malibucoastanimalhospital Charlotte loved you.”
She posted a lovely picture of Charlotte and it’s clear she was a very special dog with her shaggy white fur, expressive eyes and her adorable tongue hanging out!

Eileen’s character Ashely Abbott has not been seen on a regular basis but that doesn’t mean she is forgotten! She was a pivotal player in the recent Alzheimer’s storyline involving Abbott family matriarch Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams).
The storyline won rave reviews for the realistic portrayal of how the family of an Alzheimer’s sufferer also suffers with the disease. Dina’s children were by her side when she died as she had been moved back into the family home after a period of estrangement.
The show portrayed her memory loss and how it affected her children. One by one she forgot who they were, and the pain was palpable for many viewers who have been in similar situations.
What will happen next for Ashley Abbott in Genoa City? That remains to be seen. Her siblings Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) are also seen somewhat infrequently although Jack could be gearing up for a May December romance with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). What would Ashley have to say about her brother dating a much younger woman? Perhaps we will find out if TPTB bring Ashley back to town and back to daytime where fans have always appreciated her and the drama that seems to accompany her!
