The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: J.T.’s Corpse Gone – Genoa City Mystery Deepens

So the coverup crew digs and digs and digs some more on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Adorned in their Halloween grave robber costumes, a few days after the event due to still-delayed programming schedules, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and later, street-clothed Sharon (Sharon Case), discover a stunner. Yes, J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) corpse is gone!

It could be that the initial placement of Jill’s (Jess Walton) statue on top of J.T.’s unknown to most resting place may have somehow ground up the remains of Luckinbill’s character. Possibly the cement topper that the spiral art work was placed on required its own deep dig and J.T.’s body was eviscerated.

If the gruesome Halloweeny paragraph above doesn’t prove true, then someone found J.T.’s body and moved it. But who would that person be? Then again, maybe more then one known, or unknown character has become involved in a storyline that stretches back to the spring.

If Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is playing by the book, then he surely wouldn’t have unearthed J.T. in recent days, but be withholding that information. Although an unsolved missing person’s case that turned out to be a murder could require public blocking in order to trip up the criminal, or in this case, criminals.

Arturo (Jason Canela) evidenced nothing that would have led viewers to believe that he and his crew stumbled upon J.T., which indicates that Rey hasn’t solved this mystery yet. Detective Rosales wouldn’t logically have had J.T.’s body under wraps. But, someone else could.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is the X-factor. She’s been painted as very shady since returning from a supposed summer trip. Somehow becoming aware of J.T.’s resting place and then moving his body would allow her to cash in on a big payoff, which she claims to need to payoff coyotes.

If Miss Porter is falsely being accused, then this really is a good mystery storyline. Yes, continuing to watch Genoa City developments will be important in coming days and weeks.
