This year’s Jabot Christmas party isn’t fully festive on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But would any teased corporate splash be without drama at this time of the year? No.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) can’t escape Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) constant glare. Genoa City Police Department’s Paul-less (Doug Davidson) lead detective is pressuring Mrs. Newman while knowing her powerful husband is out of the area, a situation that will be remedied by Christmas Eve when the great Victor (Eric Braeden) returns.
Young And Restless Gearing Up For Big Holiday Drama
Detective Rosales’ tax write-off party warning is issued to Nikki. He’s going to nab Victor and nail her for serving as his protector, which rakes already frayed feelings. Hugging any adult bottle she sees, Scott’s frenzied character will pull a pricey flask from her attire and down a swig of concealed alcohol just prior to exiting one of Y&R’s beautiful sets, that being the GC Athletic Club.
It will be snowing that evening on daytime’s main steamer, which just achieved the improbable milestone of sitting atop all other soaps for thirty consecutive years, all of which Scott and Braeden have been part of. Endurance by this show and the actors referenced earn the highest of praise from all devoted and adoring fans of the enduring genre.

Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) recent write-back saw Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) purposefully, but casually ask how he arrived at ‘Lane’s’ place. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) defended her almost-again boyfriend, but calling out her twin, who knew the young Mr. Hellstrom’s driver’s license was still suspended.
Young And Restless Spoilers – Nikki Collateral Damage
Sharp soap fans knew the above script reference implied that Y&R’s teenage set would soon be drawn into some type of trouble, as was true in the past. Viewers see Reed driving Charlie’s car when Nikki walks onto the street between December’s snowflakes. She’s hit and rushed to the hospital, which serves as the latest incident of collateral damage in the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) storyline.
So rather then prep for Christmas with a fun night out on Jabot’s dime, Nikki drops to the street. She’ll cling to life before Victor returns home.
