The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Jack Interested in Phyllis Again – Philly’s Future Seemingly Limited

Billy (Jason Thompson) has allowed himself to fall again on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The woman in his life has suffered whenever that’s happened. At this point that person is Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). As devoted viewers have seen, she’s already reeling and his turned to her one-time and longtime husband for verbal consolation.

Jack (Peter Bergman) has become Phyllis’ sounding board, again. Now that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has died and because Y&R hasn’t used Lauren (Tracey Bregman) as Phyllis’ best friend in awhile, Jack is Mr. Go-To. He shouldn’t be called Mr. Abbott until the paternity storyline is fully resolved.

Billy saw that Jack was hanging around Phyllis at Hilary’s gathering after the funeral. Then, Bergman’s face was shown in one of his classic reaction shots. While Phyllis was reading Hilary’s final words, Jack evidenced a pained expression when a reference to lost loves was mentioned. Just another sign that he’s interested in reconciliation, if possible.

Jack has been alone for awhile. He didn’t opt to leave Phyllis, she left him for Billy as devoted fans know. Is that triangle currently being repositioned? It sure seems like it.

Billy has continued to push Summer (Hunter King) away as often as he’s embraced opportunities to play poker. It feels like somehow, some way, even if it’s not his willful choice, Summer is going to put Billy in a position to betray Phyllis in a most personal way. That would surely send her to Jack and likely serve as ‘Phack’s’ revival point.

Jack has begun the process of re-stabilizing his life. Choosing to shelve the search for his supposed biological father, assuming it’s not John (Jerry Douglas), was a sign that Jack had checked the emotion of this understandably charged issue. Accepting Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) senior consultant offer at Dark Horse, was another.

The back-and-forth between Billy and Jack that Y&R is offering will lead to some type of couple’s climax. ‘Philly’ ends and ‘Phack’ begins again? Maybe, but all great soap is unpredictable when written well.

Celebrating The Soaps is a leading source for everything linked to ‘The Young and the Restless’.

I love to see her leave and take Summer with her,

This new Phyllis does not do the role justice. She seems much harder than Stafford. She just does not give a good vibe.
She really has no place to criticize Billy for lying when she is keeping a secret that is worse than his. At least he didn’t kill anyone and is hiding it.

Yes I do if she can keep her cloths on and away from Nick. I don’t want her back with Jack if she can’t stop bed hopping.
