The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kevin Fisher Found A Flash Drive Implicating An Embezzler At Newman Enterprises

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Kevin found a flash drive his mother, Gloria Fisher Bardwell (Judith Chapman) had hidden in the Chancellor mansion during her last visit. Upon looking at it on his computer, he discovered Gloria was involved in an embezzling and money laundering scheme, with a mystery person inside of Newman Enterprises funneling money. Phyllis had gotten nosy and heard him on the phone and then came snooping around as he was on the patio of Crimson Lights.

She heard Gloria’s name and Victoria’s and tried to get him to share the flash drive with her. At first Kevin thought maybe Phyllis herself was the mole inside of Newman, but after thinking about it for a while he decided that didn’t make any sense. She and Gloria had some connection, but it was long in the past and had involved Phyllis being Gloria’s landlord. But Phyllis did confide in him the problems Victoria was giving her, and even though it wouldn’t make sense for Victoria to be the embezzler, it was possible. According to Phyllis, she just had bought her out of her hotel and was planning to evict her, and if it hadn’t been for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) stepping in, the outcome could have been much different. Victoria wouldn’t have even made money on the deal, and it seemed to be for spite.

Y&R Spoilers – Kevin Fisher Decides To Help Phyllis Summers Put Victoria Newman Under The Genoa City Police Radar

Kevin knows his mother has gotten herself into some major trouble, and considers whether to try and help her or to teach her a lesson. He probably should have turned the flash drive over to Chief Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) to begin with since he works for the GCPD now. But instead, since this is his mother, he called his brother, District Attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) first. This was the call that Phyllis overheard him on at Crimson Lights. He calls Phyllis to meet him so they can talk some more about the flash drive and the information on it.

She arrives, and he asks more questions about Victoria and her behavior as of late. Phyllis notes that Victoria has become cutthroat and vindictive, and Nick has started to refer to her as a female version of the worst version ever of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)! Victoria recently has split with her father because of his favoring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) over her, although that is really not what Victor has intended. Kevin knows that Adam can be a fairly competent computer hacker when he wants to be, and Phyllis agrees, although sometimes she has had to help him. Kevin stresses this is only a theory, and he will have to try to find out where the computer is physically that is being used to funnel the money to the overseas account.

He wonders if Victoria is doing it herself and trying to frame Adam. No money appears to be going out of the overseas account, only going into it. It is obviously being laundered. Phyllis is intrigued at the theory. Kevin could certainly point fingers at Victoria with the intel he already has, but he has to find out first if the computer is inside Newman Enterprises. As soon as he finds out for sure, then they can work on Phyllis’ plan, and have some hard evidence to get Victoria herself under the police radar, and let the law do the rest!

      I think Kevin should do what ever he can to help his mother, if he thinks she is in some kind of trouble. Phyllis is not the one he should discuss anything with. All she is about is what she can do to the hurt the Newmans. Nick is the biggest traitor ever. Without his father her would be locked up someplace. How easily he has forgotten that. Most sons would like to take over the family business that there father had built up. Not Nick he is always backing Phyllis and going against his father, no matter what. Kevin should helps his mother and maybe destroy what ever he has come across but, not let Phyllis in on it. Without a doubt she will use it to black mail Victoria for her own good and if dumb Nick fines out about it he will be with Phyllis all the way. That is the kind of son and brother he is.
