He is surprised because he always doubted it, but once it’s confirmed, he’ll be excited. However, Summer Newman (Hunter King) won’t feel the same way and might secretly resent the little boy. It could end up tearing “Skyle” apart.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Kyle reads the paternity test results in front of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Kyle knew being Harrison’s father was possible, but doubted if it was actually true. This week, he learns that he is the child’s biological father. Mealor talked to Soap Opera Digest about how Kyle feels about it.

“It’s a gut-wrenching thing whenever he thinks about Harrison spending time with Ashland, and them building more of a bond because I think Kyle is beginning to realize that’s what he wants. He wants that bond. But he knows at the end of the day, Ashland is the father that Harrison knows and that’s what’s best for Harrison.”

Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke’s Rage

When Ashland first learns that Harrison is not his son, he is dumbstruck and in disbelief. He can’t wrap his head around it being true. For the past three years, Ashland has helped raise this child. He has a bond and connection with the little boy. So, he sets out to prove that Kyle is wrong, or that it’s some kind of scheme he cooked up with Tara.

By the middle of the week, Ashland’s anger will intensify. It gets to the point where Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) promises to protect his family at all costs, which now includes Harrison. Then, he issues a warning to Ashland. The situation is now flipped because just last week, it was Ashland that was delivering warnings and threats. For Jack, it’s one thing to attack him and even Jabot. It’s quite another to target his family, especially when that includes an innocent boy.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tara Locke’s Increased Presence

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Tara might still have to deal with Ashland. They need to get divorced, and Ashland’s name is on Harrison’s birth certificate. So, he can bring up the paternity results in court and wipe his hands of any responsibility toward Harrison. On the other hand, Ashland might not want to let go of the child he’s raised since birth. So, Ashland could still fight for custody.

It is confirmed that Tara will have an increased presence in Kyle’s life. This makes sense since they now have to work out co-parenting, what kind of custody arrangement to have, visitation, etc. They are civil and getting along, so they can probably come to a mutual agreement on most things. What Summer is going to focus on isn’t supporting Kyle as he navigates becoming an instant father. She will zoom in on Tara being around a lot more and will notice them bonding over Harrison. She will worry about what that means for her relationship.

King recently told SOD that Summer is bracing herself for a very different future than what she imagined. However, no matter how much she tries to prepare, the actress teased that Summer has no clue just how much this is going to change everything. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will worry about their daughter.

We know she will have a hard time adjusting, but her resentment could be misplaced. Even though Harrison is an innocent child, Summer could secretly resent him coming into Kyle’s life. That could rip “Skyle” apart.
