The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and rumors reveal that the show has a good opportunity if they’re willing to take advantage of it. Y&R fans know Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) never got to meet her twin sister, Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Hilary had a fierce energy and would surely engage in some battles with Amanda if she were still alive.

We have no doubt that Hilary would find love in her heart for her sister, but Hilary was Hilary! There’s no way she would’ve been able to avoid a rivalry with Amanda under the circumstances. Unfortunately, Hilary is dead and gone. Y&R’s missing out on Amanda having that sister battle, but they’ve opened the door to a new one now that Amanda’s met her younger sister, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).

Imani can’t stand Amanda at this point and is struggling to buy the idea that Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) secretly gave up twins. This whole ordeal has been overwhelming for Imani, who just wants to protect her mom and has been lied to all her life. It’s tough to fault Imani since she trusts Naya and was never given the real story until now.

The Young And The Restless Rumors & Spoilers – Sisters Face-Off

Having the sisters face off like this right off the bat is typical for soaps. Once Imani accepts the truth, she may calm down and even try to form a relationship with Amanda. Naturally, that doesn’t mean the road ahead would be an easy one! Imani and Amanda already have great sibling rival chemistry. It seems like plenty of fans are loving Imani’s fire and on board with seeing more.

In fact, the idea of a sister vs. sister love triangle with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) sounds tempting! Devon’s relationship with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) was sweet once upon a time, but it was never exciting – not like Devon’s feisty relationship with Hilary was.

Y&R Soap Opera Spoilers – Previous Feud

Likewise, Amanda’s previous feud with Elena was rather ho-hum. Elena and Amanda are even friends now, so there’s just no drama in their story with Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) anymore. The Young and the Restless may need a new direction to liven things up again.

It feels like introducing Imani and Naya to the canvas has brought out another side of Amanda. We’re seeing some of the same intensify Hilary had – and Imani’s got that intensity, too. Being fierce must run in the family!

New Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Complicated Bond

Once Imani and Amanda form a complicated bond, it’d be great to see an equally complicated love triangle with Devon. Just imagine all the additional faceoffs that fans would be treated to. There’d be the potential for some fantastic material featuring these struggling sisters.
