The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Newman Struggles With Confusion And Memory Loss, Patriarch’s Sad Deterioration

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor's Foggy Summer – Side Effects Hit Moustache HardVictor Newman (Eric Braeden) agreed to an experimental drug treatment on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He did so in order to try and beat the rare blood disease that he’s contracted. But the side effects that have begun to impact the ‘Moustache’s’ life will create a foggy summer with unknown consequences.

Forgetting to have paid a check wasn’t a sign of distraction. Instead, what Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) noticed at Society was the first troubling sign that will be followed by others.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Dr. Hastings Warned Victor About Treatment Plan

Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was upfront with Victor when suggesting the pluses and minuses of the treatment plan. If all goes well, the reduced mental capacity Victor will endure will allow him to live many years, possibly including what would be considered a full life. The alternative, going without this experimental drug therapy, would inevitably lead to Victor’s demise.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) doesn’t want Jack to know the full truth because he’s aware that Victor’s all-time and longtime rival could use the information to Jabot’s advantage. More than business, Jack would be likely to also play a personal angle. Plus there’s his connection to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the potential that offers for other trouble.

Having sniffed weakness, Jack won’t let go of this bone. He’s bound to learn what Victor’s malady is and calculate how it could be exploited, if he’s inclined to do so.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will Jack Abbott Take Advantage?

Knowing that Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) was put in charge at Newman Enterprises felt odd. With that reality and whatever else Jack can observe in the near future, Y&R’s classic lead male confrontation will be back on. Victor will be impaired this time around, as he’s been on a few occasions in the past, which will give Jack the advantage.

Devoted viewers recall that Victor once went against his instincts and saved Jack’s life when they were trapped due to The Underground’s collapse. So it is possible that Jack might unexpectedly come to Victor’s aid, or not go for the jugular this summer. Though betting odds probably won’t reflect either outcome, including if this storyline extends into the fall, or beyond.

I do , he can be dastardly half the time , ( the one and only Victor ! ) but I don’t want to see him failing and confused – that’s just not ” the mustache ” and I hope Jack doesn’t take advantage of it all , he should know better – his poor mom if in a home for such as that ! Jack should feel some sympathy for Nikki and family . Just have to wait and see if Jack takes the ” high road ” in this story line ….
