Young And The Restless News: Daniel Goddard Teases Christel Khalil’s Possible Return

Many viewers were saddened when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) broke up after the former’s portrayer, Christel Khalil, went off contract with “The Young and the Restless.” However, it seems like fans have something to feel excited about when Goddard teased his on-screen partner’s return.
In a video, which he uploaded on Instagram, Goddard asked his followers if they wanted to see something cool. He then turned the camera to the placard containing his name, indicating his parking spot in the studio. He then said, “That’s me.”
But that’s not the end of it. Goddard then added, “but that’s not the cool part. You wanna see the cool part? Here’s the cool part.”
Young And The Restless News – Fans React To Khalil’s Possible Return
Once again, he moved the phone’s camera away from his face and to another placard with Khalil’s name on it and said, “That’s the cool part.” The show nor the actress has not made any confirmation about her return so viewers have to stay tuned to find out.
As expected fans were quick to react to Goddard’s video. In less than an hour, nearly 300 comments were made and about 5,000 people liked his post.
One “The Young and the Restless” fan said, “Now this is a great way to start our week!!!!” while another one chimed in and said, “So cool… want you guys back together. Your family dynamic is missing.” Another one wrote, “Yes! I hope this means that Cane and Lily are getting back together! #fingerscrossed.”
Young And The Restless News – Decided To Drop To Recurring Status In 2018
Khalil joined the cast of “The Young and the Restless” back in 2002 and she instantly became a fan favorite. After three years, she left the show and her role was recast. In 2006, Khalil returned and then announced that her decision to drop off-contract to recurring status in 2018.
Khalil informed her fans about her decision and said: “I wanted you to be the first to know that if you see less of me on Y&R, it’s because I have decided to switch from full-time to recurring status.” She added that she have had “16 amazing years of playing Lily” and that she’s not leaving the show but “just ready to explore new things. I will continue to be a proud member of the Y&R family and look forward to further adventures playing Lily. Thank you for all the love and support over the years!”
