Young and the Restless News: Eric Braeden Says Big Changes Are Coming To Y&R!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Eric Braeden has been vocal in his opinion of the show under the executive producer and head writer Mal Young. It was announced that Young was exiting the show and Josh Griffith would come back as head writer. Ever since the announcement, Braeden has reassured the fans that the show will improve, they will just have to wait and see.
Eric Says Things Will Get Better
Braeden sent a tweet on Friday, December 21. He wrote, “Am on a flight to Atlanta to see two of my grandkids. Have a great weekend everyone! Some big changes at Y&R! Be patient! Changes will come…in time.”
His tweet brought such joy to his followers. They immediately were excited and they tried to pump the soap veteran for more information. Of course, he didn’t say anything more, only retweeting several replies that stated how happy they were that Victor Newman was [finally] back on the show.

What Kind Of Changes Will Happen?
Of course, one of the biggest changes most of the viewer want to see is Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) to return to the show. He was fired several months ago after nearly four decades on the show. The way his ousting happened was not respectful and it upset many Y&R fans.
Other characters that many want to see come back are Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Adam (not cast), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Scotty (Daniel Hall), and Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Eric assured the fans that things will improve, they just have to have some patience. Let’s just hope some of our fan favorites return to bring the show back to what it used to be.

Glad Mal Young is gone !!!!
I don’t know why change is so hard for some people. Sometimes it’s great to see new faces and new stories and just go on with the show. Why keep dragging up the past.
Please bring back mm to be adam again. Fans all over keep posting everywhere on how missed he really is.
Please bring Michael Muhney back as Adam! He would really add a lot to the show by his interaction with Victor and the entire family!

Please bring Neil back! Make him more interesting and PLEASE bring him a love interest. He’s such a great actor and great chemistry with the other cast mates.
Some of these actors are the ”cement” of this show …. it’s nice to give newer actors a chance tho’ …. some are better than others I think Nate is not a good actor- he does the same hand motions over and over , anybody ever notice that ? Drives me nuts….
