Young And The Restless News: Kelly Kruger Scores Primetime Job!

Kelly Kruger, who plays Mackenzie Hellstrom on “The Young and the Restless,” has booked a primetime gig. Kruger will appear as a guest star on “iZombie’s fifth and final season on The CW. She will play the character named Vanessa Collins.
iZombie is based on the DC Comics series of the same title. It tells the story of a medical intern, Olivia Moore (Rose McIver), who became a zombie while attending a party. To stay sane and alive, she has to eat brains of the corpses at the hospital.
That’s when she discovered a perk of being a zombie. She develops an ability to take a glimpse of the corpses lives, which helps her identify their killers. She uses that ability to assist the police in solving crimes, while a scientist works on finding a cure for her.
Kelly Kruger is also known as Eva, the publicist on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” She last appeared on the January 11 episode of “The Young and the Restless,” but fans can expect her return soon given the recent development on the death of JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) have been arrested. Still, JT’s body has been missing, and Mac, his onscreen wife, may be holding some answers.
Earlier this month, Kruger reveals that the casting team wants to bring her back full-time, and she has been considering it. However, while misses the show, she is not yet sure if she can commit to a regular taping schedule. Nonetheless, wouldn’t it be lovely to see Mac and the kids more often?

Kruger’s recent projects include “BFF Bride,” where she worked with “General Hospital” star Ryan Paevey. She also appeared in other primetime series such as “The Bold Type” and “Castle.”
iZombie’s final season will premiere on May 2. Kelly Kruger will appear on Episode 12, which will air in June.

I definitely like MacKenzie popping in now & then, but as a regular again? No… Kind of like Brittany Hodges, I like her popping in now & then, too! I want Paul full time, Kevin, Gloria, Adam, Malcom & Olivia, and more of Esther & Jill. Heck, bring Amber back for Cane, too, since Lily wants to live in Canada with her boyfriend & is choosing a guy over her career and just won’t be around. The kids will graduate from High School in June & will be off to college, which means off the show, so bring Amber back for Cane! I want the Telenova Rosales Clan to ALL 4 go away forever! I hate all of them! And I can barely stomach the con grifter Tessa, (hate her with Mariah!), and the very stiff wooden Nathan. But get the Rosales Family to all go away and restore order in Genoa City with Paul at the helm…
