Young and The Restless News: Stacy Haiduk Teases New Movie Starring The Late Kristoff St. John – Soap Star’s Final Curtain Call

Stacy Haiduk teases what her character is like in a new film that is called “Home Is Where The Killer Is.” The actress, who is playing the role of Dr. Julie Thomson “is not a nice person.” The movie, which also features other familiar faces from different soaps, dropped on Netflix on October 8.

The movie is about a Nicole Turner, played by “The Young and the Restless’” Kelly Kruger, a young woman who is in search of a new home after surviving a health scare and the end of a romantic relationship. She winds up renting a room at Dr. Thomason’s home. She eventually discovers Julie’s true nature.

The movie boasts of other soap stars like Christopher Sean and John-Paul Lavoisier, both alums of “Days of Our Lives” as well as the late Kristoff St. John who passed away in February. St. John takes on the role of Dr. Fredericks, Sean as Kyle, and Lavoisier as Benjamin.

Movie With The Late Kristoff St. John

Haiduk explained that they shot the film two months before St. John’s passing.

“That’s why his [death] was so [surreal]. It’ll be sad to see him on screen, but it will be nice. We didn’t get to work too much together at YR, but we’d see each other at the studio and at parties. Never in my mind did I think [he wouldn’t be here],” she said.

Haiduk didn’t know when the film would be released but she’s surely happy to know that it’s now available on Netflix. She also said that she’s “excited to see how it turned out.”

Meanwhile in “Days of Our Lives,” Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) just found out that that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) has been shot and is on life support in the hospital. The doctors have told them that there’s nothing they can do. Kristen must now deal with losing another brother.

However, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) may be able to save Stefan using his miracle serum. Viewers may recall that he already did that with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey), to name a few. However, Stefan’s injuries could render the serum useless. Viewers have to tune in to find out what happens next.
