As viewers have seen within the last handful of episodes, Cane was forcibly provided with her original will pages in Las Vegas, Nevada. They’ve been verified by an analyst and appear to be legitimate.

Those pages appear to prove that Katherine’s wishes were misrepresented. Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols) seems to be the person who orchestrated a forgery so that his biological son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), would become the main beneficiary of Katherine’s will in 2013.

It’s possible that whatever Y&R’s decision, Goddard might be retained as a recurring player. So, Cane and Lily could reconcile. But they could be written as living off-screen with the twins, Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry), and returning to visit occasionally.

A mega twist could have Cane be involved in something dastardly with his father, Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). But hopefully a more fitting ending is presented. It would seem possible that Cane will leave GC and use Katherine’s money to continue the positive efforts Devon has been pursuing during the six years since she’s passed.
