Young And The Restless POLL: Does Sharon Want Adam Back? Vote Now!

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) - Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) continues to say that she’s with a good guy on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) may actually be Sharon’s second choice. So, is it possible that she actually wants Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back?

Longtime viewers recall that Adam (as then played by Michael Muhney) once was deeply involved with Sharon. But that was ages ago in soap and real time. However, Y&R began implying that a ‘Shadam’ sequel was possible since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) asked Sharon to help him unlock Adam’s memory in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sharon said that Adam had saved her life on more than one occasion, which was true and also a generous interpretation of her backstory. She genuinely wanted to help him and was able to convince the latest version of this character to return home within a very short period of time.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Caught In Spider’s Web

‘Spider’, as he was calling himself, was hesitant to go to Genoa City, Wisconsin. The professional gambler read plenty about what he’d done and didn’t want to remember that life, or revert to being Adam again.

Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) shot at the tack house door ended Adam’s option, as his memory was restored through that blast. So rather than completing the hit she first tried at the cabin in September 2016, Chloe actually restored her nemesis.

Y&R further pushed the idea that ‘Shadam’ is viable when Sharon and Rey took a recent return trip to Vegas. Both characters said the jaunt didn’t go well upon returning, but offered few details. It seems that their chemistry is lacking.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales Offered Her Sense Of Stability

Rey was leery of anyone who’s roaming eye is similar to Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez). Like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Rey knows Sharon remains open to Adam. Whether she loves him is uncertain.

Sharon’s belief that Adam’s good side exists is right. But how often he chooses to show it, or for how long is the bite. Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) rejected Adam’s recent plea that ‘Chadam’ be restored in trade for Nick retaining custody of his brother’s second-born son. That leaves Adam with Sharon as his clear second choice. But Chelsea believes that Sharon has always been his number one.

Rey believes he might be Sharon’s number two and he walked out on her, telling her they’re over. Now that Shey is done, with Adam and Sharon alone in the near future, considering past history and current chemistry, ‘Shadam’ could be tried once more.

Perhaps, they would however, they don’t need to reconnect.

Poor Sharon, she gets bounced around, leave her alone. We do not need the repeat of Adam & Nick. Rey was a bad choice too. Let her be the new strong independent woman she was developing into.

Sharon should stay with Ray he is a much nicer guy for her

I think Sharon is vulnerable to any Man who pays attention to her.she cannot be without a man.she needs that security of a male figure l just hope if sharon does go with Adam she will persuade Adam to drop the custody case against Nick for custody of Christain .I think she should be on her own for awhile these women in Genoa City jump from bed to bed it’s like a vicious circle the same guys the same girls it’s like bedroom checkers let’s see who we can jump first

I am so sick of this character bed hoping..they make her look like a total bobble head…and she suppose to have a degree to help people..she isint stable on her own life..she has become pathetic to having to have a man….omg give it a rest..does she even know what love and loyalty is..try it on her own for a bit be single.. and raise the daughter she is teaching that being a women you need a man..and sleeping with everyone that looks ay you twice is ok..let’s jump into bed..no sense teaching her morals and respect of yourself…and others..she is becoming the town tramp…

I agree with you….but don’t think sharon is capable of telling Adam to drop the case..its like she is a ding bat around him and he mesmerize her air head..

  9. Guest says

That a quality response to let sharon be the independent women she was coming..show a women can change and become a better stronger person..live a fulfilled life with her own smarts…instead of showing a women pathetic not to seeing how a man can control and sucker her in because he plays sympathetic needy weak side..

You can say that again !! It gets tiresome after awhile to see these women over and over these again fall for the same guys , musical beds …. it’s just to centered on these relationships that never last and always have problems . What happened to the mystery and glamor of a good soap ?? No fun any more , ( bring back Gloria for goodness sakes , loved her character , she is a hoot and a half !! ) it’s a drag with all the contention and arguing . Nikki and the ladies need to throw a ball and have some FUN – beautiful gowns and excitement for a change . Billy is on a real downer right now years after Delia’s death . Lighten this show up a bit writers – your fans will thankyou for it …..

They could be a fantastic couple. All the elements are there: passion, history, and story. These two ooze chemistry. It is palpable on screen.

You mean Rey who just dumped her rather than fight for her? Rey who entrapped her and sent her to prison? Rey who asked her to keep quiet about Mia assaulting Lola and set her up to go to prison for near the same thing? Nah…I’ll take Adam.

    I agree
Im all in with Sharon and Adam

    Bye Rey

A women can be independent and strong and still have a love life! I don’t want Sharon sitting around the house moping over Nick or Rey! Especially since there is this tall dark and sexy man who is available and just waiting for her. So what if he’s a bad boy she doesn’t have to marry him! Just let have some fun.

That’s what Nikki did with Arturo!

  15. Guest says

It’s a new dick in town sharon will be all over it she has always been a hoe and always will be

  16. Loopy Cooney says

Well if the choice was between Rey and Adam I guess I would have to vote for Adam but she should be with Nick. That’s where the chemistry is and not with Adam. As for them jumping from bed to bed and from man to man, remember their timelines are a lot different than hours. Who knows how many months was really in between anyone’s relationships It’s hard to say. I want to know when they are going to grow Faith into a bratty teenager.

Carmen, I would like the Y&R writers to *write* for Adam and Sharon. They have so much potential. These two have quite a history and so much chemistry. They also were previously married and loved each other very much. They ended prematurely because of outside interference. Sharon listened to a lot of well meaning people when it came to Adam (i.e., Nick) instead of following her heart. I’m hoping she does not make the same mistake twice. I want to see Adam and Sharon go the distance. I believe they can do it. I also think Nick is starting to lose it not just because of Christian, but because he *knows* that. Rey did not bother Nick because deep down he knew Rey was no threat to his on again, off again relationship with Sharon with him firmly remaining in the driver’s seat. Adam, on the other hand . . . well, that’s an entirely different ball game. Now, isn’t it?
