Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) didn’t make a peace offering on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Instead, he told Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that dropping the custody case was being done out of love for his second-born son, Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). Adam also noted that Nick was a father to Christian in all ways except biological, which was actually a high compliment.
However, within moments of presenting Nick with legal documents in Newman Enterprises’ Chief Executive’s office, Adam told him, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that he intends to reveal them to the world as hypocrites while bringing the entire family down.
One underhanded aim would be to rub known family sores, in order to create strife, as part of a plan to distract all named Newman’s from conducting normal business.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – An Outsider Who Doesn’t Want In
The conversation Chelsea Boudreau (Melissa Claire Egan) had with Adam at the penthouse, which is where ‘Chadam’ once lived, surely seems to have made an impact. Her tell to him about wanting love, not revenge, led to him dropping pursuit of Christian’s custody.
Adam took stock of the way in which Christian resists him and concluded that his son should remain with Nick. But Adam tends to morally compartmentalize, which is why he also decided to pursue a vindictive course of action and to openly announce what he’s doing.
Hearing that he’d never be one of the Newman’s is the latest insult that drives Adam. He’s been the outcast since first arriving in Genoa City, Wisconsin, as the SORAS’d version of this character, as then played by Chris Engen (Adam) in 2008. So, today’s Adam could pursue another approach that involves Christian in order to provoke Nick and Victor as an overall plan.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Take A Chance On Me’s Two Sources
Yes, this header was inspired by two sources. The first was the classic ABBA song, Take a Chance On Me. The second, the long-gone Y&R character, Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll).
Driscoll was last seen in 2011, after having played Phillip ‘Chance’ Chancellor IV since 2009. He’s the son of Phillip Chancellor III (Thom Bierdz) and Nina Clay (Tricia Cast). Chance is the grandson of Jill Fenmore Atkinson (Jess Walton) and Phillip Chancellor II (Donnelly Rhodes), though Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) long considered Phillip II and Phillip III to be members of her family.
The letter Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) receives regarding discrepancies in his grandmother’s (Katherine) will naturally creates speculation about whether Chance is linked to this development. Y&R fans know that some type of connection exists between Adam and Chance, but Phyllis apparently knows more than the viewers. Clearly there’s potential for Adam and Chance to already be working as team in order to take control of both the Newman and Chancellor fortunes.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Wild Card To Be Played Again
If all were predictable there would be little, if any reason to follow what Adam is doing within this part of the storyline. But the former ‘Spider’ is the current wild card on this soap.
