Young and the Restless Spoilers: Amanda’s On The Market – Is Nate The Man For Her?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is still settling into Genoa City, Wisconsin. It will take awhile, especially because of who she resembles.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) hasn’t made much progress with his social life since arriving in GC. He’s had some romantic stops and starts, most recently with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

Amanda just wants to start fresh in this town. She appears to have endured some type of personal hardship in Madison, Wisconsin, where her law practice was based. Whether she was a native of that part of the state hasn’t yet been detailed.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Backstory Needs More Definition

The mention of Madison was intriguing, as it’s the neighboring city to GC. As hardcore viewers recall, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) had a connection (Cassie Newman, as played by Camryn Grimes) in Madison in the mid-1990’s, when Case’s character debuted.

It would seem unusual for Amanda to have lived in Madison her entire life and to have not known about Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial role on Y&R). GC Buzz was very popular and in the age of the internet was accessible far beyond the boundaries of Y&R’s main setting.

So, Amanda’s backstory will need to be more firmly defined so viewers can gain a deeper understanding of who she is.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Dr. Nate Hastings Must Heal Himself

A major point in Nate’s backstory was referenced when he moved to GC, in order to become the Newman family’s personal physician. He referenced a girlfriend who had died, but not much information has followed through the years.

The above makes his very brief connection to and break with Abby something that he can overcome far more easily. That’s why it’s nice to see him begin forming a relationship with Amanda.

Hopefully for Nate, Morgan’s new alter ego doesn’t prove to be someone he can’t trust, as Dominic’s character deserves a break.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Appears To Be Sincere

Amanda wasn’t involved in Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) scheme. She didn’t attempt to steal Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) inheritance, as Nate has been trying to tell Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

The tracking app Amanda is using doesn’t seem linked to anything sinister, but possibly to some feared person. This soapy situation seems likely to allow Nate and Amanda to bond, if she confides in him, or he learns about the matter through some other means.
