Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint at some hookups in the land of Genoa City come the bicentennial gala. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is paired up with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy); however, he does share an attraction to his boss, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). While he’s trying to keep Ms. Newman at bay to remain faithful to his girlfriend, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has come out of left field, looking to snag the executive away from both women. Will she successfully accomplish her goal and steal Nate for herself?

After all, most fans were under the impression that this was a love triangle storyline until Audra made it clear recently that she fancies Nate, too. She also revealed that she doesn’t see Elena as a threat in her mission to get Hastings in bed, rather, Vicky is the hurdle she needs to overcome.

In a brilliantly manipulative move, The Young and the Restless spoilers show Charles recently cornered Elena and planted a seed of doubt where Nate and Victoria are concerned. Not only did she imply that Dawson should be on high alert when it comes to Ms. Newman, but she also picked away at Elena’s insecurities when it comes to her boyfriend’s working “bond” with Vic. The fallout of this conversation between the women will be epic.

Audra’s a smart woman. By talking to Elena, she knows Dawson is likely to fly off the handle the next time Vic and Nate have a late-night meeting. Probably before then. There’s nothing that will eat away at a relationship more than jealousy and insecurity. The Nate and Elena romance is hanging by a string, and this could be the “straw that breaks the camel’s back”.

Nate is not only staying away from Vic because he’s in a relationship with Dawson, but he’s also refraining from romance with Ms. Newman because she’s his boss and a romp in the hay could ultimately ruin his career in the long run. If he and Elena fight, he won’t go to Vicky about this stress, but he may turn to his colleague Audra.
