Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy’ Abbott Spirals Over Victoria – Victor Out For Blood

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is not responsible for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) being in the hospital on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But yes, he did crash the Newman Enterprises Fiftieth Anniversary celebration that was held at the Top of the Tower.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), who has quickly become more than a friend to Billy, did follow him from the Grand Phoenix hotel to the gala. Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) then followed her, with resulting, shocking consequences.

A soapy twist had Vickie and Amanda dressed similarly in white outfits, with their hair styled in ponytail fashion. As they are of similar size, Ripley thought that Vickie was Amanda when he pushed a knife into her kidney, which is why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is out for blood.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Urges Focus On Suspect

Victor was grumbling about ‘Billy-boy’ the day after Vickie made it through a successful surgery. He was concerned with the whereabouts of Thompson’s character.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who’s become a quasi confidant, advised his longtime rival to take it easy and to keep his focus on the suspect. Bergman’s alter ego was confident that Ripley would be caught soon.

When he was last seen, Keyes’ villainous persona spotted Amanda at the Towers’ elevator doors after exiting the crime scene he’d created. Stunned to the realization that he attacked the wrong party, Ripley said nothing, departed, and hasn’t been seen since.

Y&R Spoilers – Vickie Newman Expected To Survive

No information exists that implies, or confirms that Heinle is leaving the cast. So, Vickie will survive. What happens to ‘Villy’ at that point in the storyline isn’t smoothly predictable.

She’s surely going to be enraged to learn that Amanda’s ex-boyfriend mistook her for Morgan’s newest alter ego. She’s likely to blame Billy, as Victor did.

Surviving likely then means living post-Billy, which would be the repeat of a pattern that’s streamed for years. As fans recall, Billy just walked out on Vickie and their children. So, this situation isn’t likely to create the type of reconciliation dynamic that might normally be in order following a crisis of this type.

Billy recently told Vickie that he needed to find his authentic self, with whatever he meant by that. In truth, he’s still suffering the effects of a mental health breakdown that was triggered by Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) return last year.

The connection with Amanda is Billy’s attempt to have a romantic interest support his reckless behavior. Vickie encouraged discipline and common sense, both of which Billy rejects. Considering what just happened, Amanda would be wise to distance herself from Billy. But that seems unlikely, even if she tries.
