Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) thought himself out of ‘Villy’ on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Now, he’s talking himself and, apparently, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) into ‘Bamanda’.

While it’s not fully official, Billy and Amanda are teed up to be Y&R’s newest couple. If this teased pairing is able to form by spring, then it’s possible that Thompson and Morgan could be working scenes together for awhile.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Damanda Would Have Been Too Easy

Of course, Amanda looks exactly like Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s original character). That naturally made the audience believe Amanda was Hilary’s identical twin sister and that she and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) would begin a romance sometime after Morgan’s surprise return to the cast last year.

It feels as though any pairing between Devon and Amanda is far off, meaning later this year if that. James’ character and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) are doing quite well.

However, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was written in ‘Delena’s’ direction months ago, which directly projects to a triangle that could be drawn at almost any time. But Devon and Elena would need to experience trouble before a ‘Damanda’ tease would be plausible.

The head-fake leading Amanda and Billy to each other officially began at the Empty Glass. Since then a series of interactions led to the Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) horror, which elevated fondness to something more than friendship.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Defines Connection

Amanda was spot on in saying that she and Billy found each other at similar times in their lives. They perceive themselves as lost souls searching for something, someone, or both.

Billy agreed with what was said, increasingly appearing to believe that Amanda is his next soul mate. Yes, he’ll always love Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). But Billy reached the mental point of no return with whatever ‘Villy’ was in 2020.

Ghosts of the long-time relationship that Billy had with Vickie and the short-term connection Amanda had with Ripley aren’t affecting current choices. What Thompson and Morgan’s alter egos are developing genuinely appears to be legit.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Seeks Fresh Start

Billy is rejecting the notion that he needs mental health treatment and that he’s a screw-up. Instead, he believes that his loved ones and friends are wrong.

Abandoning Vickie and their children was wrong. But Vickie is determined to move forward now.

Billy’s pursuit of Amanda gives him the clean slate he’s looking for, as this potential new love hasn’t witnessed the repeated dangerous patterns those who are closest to him instantly recognizable. So, he’s buying time in attempting to form a relationship with Amanda.

Of course, Billy doesn’t really know Miss Sinclair. Time will prove whether both parties will be good for each other, while Y&R fans can choose to wait with conditioned optimism for a positive result.
