Young and the Restless Spoilers: Devon Softens Towards Amanda, Realizes She’s Not Villain But A Victim

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hints at Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) become kinder to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) based on the recent events involving the Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) attack. When Amanda originally cam back into town, she brought nothing but misery and old heartaches for Devon. However, now that he knows about her past, will he become more sincere towards Amanda?

There is no surprise that Amanda created quite the stir when she first stepped foot into Genoa City. When Amanda first came into town, it was a shock to every who knew Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) and Devon took it the worst since his wounds from her death had just begun to heal. She was and still is the spitting image of Hilary and at first, that bothered Devon.

This was also a problem for Amanda since she was being hated for having the same face as someone everyone knew in town. Especially when it comes to the circumstances that lead her to come to Genoa City. When Devon’s money went missing and he realized he was scammed, his already cold shoulder towards Amanda only grew to be colder.

As not only did she have Hilary’s face, but she might have used that to trick Devon into giving away his money and that she would get a cut of the money as well. Amanda also had a mysterious past that no one really knew about until now.

Y&R Spoilers- Devon Hamilton wants to make amends

However now that the truth about Amanda’s past is out, Devon is starting to see things in a different light, and it looks like he will be trying to be nicer towards her. When he bumped into her at Crimson Lights, he seemed like he wanted to talk to her about something probably to apologize about the way that he had been treating her. However, she was already a way to upset about what has happened so far and has been blaming herself for the things that have happened so far.

He then talks to Elena Dawson (Brytini Sarpy) about his concerns about Amanda and about the way that he treated him over the time of her being here so far. They reflected over why she might have kept things a secret and how messed up Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) is Devon began to realize that what he thought was her covering her tracks ended up being ways she was running from her past in order to keep herself safe from Ripley.
