Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) was, is, and will likely always be Billy’s, true love. But he sure seems to think that Amanda is his newest soul mate.

The end of ‘Villy’ is having devastating effects on Victoria, who was blindsided by Billy’s latest erratic move. It took this famous Y&R pairing a number of years to find their way back to each other, with Heinle’s character being rightfully cautious before having last year’s ceremony at Society.

No one who knows the full history of this couple, which includes four actors who’ve played the adult Billy in more recent years, blamed Vickie for being leery. But even after every measured step she took, Billy still disappointed her and ‘Villy’ fans everywhere.

The immediate tease was set up the moment Morgan debuted as Amanda on Y&R. Yes, she was a new character. But her jaw-dropping visual similarity to Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial role on Y&R) meant that a genetic search would eventually play out.

Assuming that Amanda is Hilary’s identical twin, or even if she isn’t, Miss Sinclair is establishing herself in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Along with that includes a burgeoning personal life.

Amanda already has Billy, if she wants him. But Nate is an option as well. Considering Billy’s infamous backstory, Dominic’s character projects as the more stable longterm pick.

But Amanda has clearly been drawn to Billy’s bad-boy persona. Nate is safe and good. Whether ‘Bamanda’ trends as a couples’ nickname or ‘Namanda’ does instead is yet to be seen.
