Y&R Spoilers – Lily’s Visit Cut Short

According to CBS Soaps In Depth, Cane’s visit with Lily (Christel Khalil) in prison was cut short. He was late due to a major traffic jam. His visit only lasted 30 minutes, which was not enough time for them. It created stress and tension. Cane starts to think this life of taking care of the kids and finding the time to see Lily is taking a toll on him. He decides he needs something to take the edge off and make him forget about his troubles.

Young and The Restless – NYE Party Spells Trouble For Cane

Cane arrives at Devon’s party and he makes a beeline to get a drink. And, he doesn’t stop with just one drink either. He slams drink after drink down, which put Devon and the Winters family on alert. They know it’s only one night, but the twins cannot afford for Cane to lose it with Lily away.
Will he cheat?

It seems to be the road the storyline may be going. With Cane drinking, it seems like a logical step to have him get really drunk, cheat on Lily, and then struggle with the guilt. The writers have to do something to give Cane a storyline, as his airtime has been very few and far in between.

A hot Y&R rumor on social media suggests that Cane with cheat with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). That seems unlikely with Victoria and Billy (Jason Thompson) growing closer. We’ll have to wait until next week to see how it plays out on The Young and the Restless.
