Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint at some major plot twists on the horizon in the land of Genoa City. Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) paternity test results will be revealed soon, which could change the current romantic landscape of the show. Of course, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) remains dedicated to sticking with Sally, no matter what the outcome. Y&R spoilers suggest some “shocking” insights once the test comes in. Most fans believe it’s Adam’s baby anyway, so it’s hard to imagine what the DNA results will reveal. Regardless, an episode was recently dedicated to some crazy daydreams Sally had over the test’s outcome. One centered around Adam being the baby’s father; the other was if Nick was her baby’s father.

Sharon did play a role in Sally’s fantasy about Nick being her baby daddy. When Sharon asks Nick (during the dream sequence) about his feelings for Sally, he brushes the question off and reveals he doesn’t think the two have anything special. This is an interesting insight into Sally’s insecurities about her romance with Nick.

Despite both Nick and Sharon reassuring Spectra that they are just some solid friends who co-parent phenomenally (and also have a romantic past) Sally still questioned why Sharon and Nick weren’t ever able to make their relationship work, recently. This is fascinating because, unlike Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), Spectra never had an inch of jealousy around the special bond Sharon shared with Adam during their relationship. Although she does seem to have these feelings in her romance with Nick. Could it be that she knows her love for Adam is strong but doesn’t feel the same way about Nick?

Y&R spoilers imply some major drama ahead for these four. If Adam ends up being Baby Newman’s dad, this could help push him and Sally toward a reunion. Sharon is slowly, but surely getting over Ray Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, and will likely be ready for a romance soon. If Nick needs a friend to turn to then Sharon will that person. It’s natural for fans to have a Shick reunion on their radar.
