Young And The Restless Spoilers: Could Rey Rosales Make A Major Genoa City Return?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has been working hard to carve a new life for herself since her husband Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) passed away suddenly last year. She’s done her best to cope with the loss of Rey by being there for her children, helping others in Genoa City, and focusing on the coffeehouse. With that said, the last thing on her mind has been romance. She’s clearly not ready to “move on” from Rey in that regard; however, could a plot twist in the storyline bring Rosales back?

During a recent Soap Opera Digest (SOD) interview, actress Sharon Case revealed that she loved working with Jordi Vilasuso and she “misses” scenes with him. In fact, she also took the time to reflect on the heartwarming final one they shared, right before Rey’s passing.

With both Case and Y&R fans missing Rosales’s presence in GC, is there any way the writers could craft up a plan to bring him back?

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Finally Dives Into A Relationship, Only For Rey To Return

It’s been about a year since Rey died in that terrible car crash. While Sharon’s stayed a single pringle along the way, it does seem as if there might be something going on between her and Rey’s partner, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). The two have bonded over Rosales’ death, and Sharon has been a good friend to Chance as his marriage to Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) fell apart.

If the two were to jump into a romance together, a Rosales return would be an interesting twist to the storyline. After all, Rey would obviously go through tremendous obstacles to come back and be with his wife, only to see her hooking up with his work partner and bestie. It would be a shocker to all three. Then again, Rey could always return to the show now and again as a ghost. He may offer his “blessing” to Sharon about her possible romance with Chance. The soap opera just loves connecting past characters with their loved ones for support and advice, and they have done so multiple times before.

      I think Rey can come back. A case took him out for a top secret and Sharon new about it. She had to stay quit. Now the reunion the job is done

      I think it is sick to bring Rey back to life. If you people have to keep bringing the dead back to life, you better all find a new career or find a mental Hospital. I loved Ray. but once you kill them off, that should be it..

      No do not bring him back, put Sharon and Nick back together. I don’t know what they are waiting on. And put Adam and Sally back together they had great chemistry she and does not , all they do is hop in the sack kinda of getting tired of them two.
