Things are getting heated between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell), as Genoa City’s district attorney is looking to nail Red for her recent scheme against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Cricket and Red have been enemies for decades now, and it all stemmed from Phyllis (who was an obsessed fan at the time) lying and scheming to take Danny away from Christine.

When Danny returned to GC during the 2022 holiday season, it seemed as if the Y&R was setting fans up for some sort of storyline revolving around these three. Phyllis no longer “wants to be with” Danny; however, they have come to a beautiful place in their lives, as co-parents. When she posted that photo on social media with her, Romalotti, and their son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), Christine seemed a tad jealous.

While Blair was still technically with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) at the time, the sparks between Danny and Cricket were electric when they finally ran into each other at Crimson Lights. Now that both Red and Christine are suddenly single, old feelings could emerge.

Danny’s not done with GC just yet. As the show continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, there’s a good chance that Romalotti will come back to the little town to see Phyllis. He’ll likely easily forgive her for this latest mistake as he seems to have a soft spot in his heart for Red.

Ms. Summers is no longer pining for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so the two may feel sparks. As for Christine, now that she’s officially no longer with Paul, she may have reunion hopes in mind. Especially with so much electricity between them at Christmas time. The tensions are high right now between the two ladies with a ton of bad blood and an impending court battle ahead. Could Danny’s arrival on the scene make things worse?
