Young and the Restless Spoilers for Monday, December 31: Victor Newman Arrested – Phyllis Gets Jealous – Nick Gets A Shock

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Devon (Bryton James) and Ana (Loren Lott) preparing the penthouse for a big New Year’s Eve party. Devon assures his sister that he is ready to say goodbye to a horrible year and set for 2019.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) both worry about where Nick (Joshua Morrow) is; both feel that Nick might have fallen into a trap – first Victor (Eric Braeden) goes missing, than Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and now Nick, wondering if someone is picking off the Newmans one by one.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Nick Goes MIA

George stops the ambulance and lets Nick out, he reveals to Nate (Brooks Darnell) that they are at a private airstrip that his father has used before.

Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) happily greets Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) who has come home early from work; Mia says she will say a prayer for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) as Rey says he is taking the night off to ring in the New Year with his beautiful wife. Devon promises he is done with his drinking and partying, as he is still seeing his therapist and getting a grip on his anxiety. He is grateful she is there as she tells him there is no place she’d rather be.

Abby (Merlissa Ordway), Arturo (Jason Canela), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Lola (Sasha Calle) and Fen (Zach Tinker) arrive with Cane immediately hitting the bar for Scotch and tells the bartender to keep them coming.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Nick And Nate Stuck With Victor’s Henchman

Nick and Nate hope Victor knows what he is doing while neither one of them can get a hold of Victor. Nick calls Victoria and Phyllis but before he can reveal anything, George steals the phone and the line goes dead; George tells him these are Victor’s orders but when Nate tells him to be reasonable, he shows them his gun again, silencing them. George says he will do whatever it takes to keep Nikki safe, he gets a call saying their questions are about to be answered and to get Nikki into the building.

Phyllis suggests maybe Nick’s battery died but Victoria worries that something terrible has happened and feels this has something to do with JT (Thad Luckinbill). Phyllis reminds Victoria that Sharon (Sharon Case) is safe and is a night class, so Phyllis messages Sharon; she offers to stay with Victoria, both agreeing its better so they don’t have to be alone. Victoria says she has some champagne as Phyllis says them ringing in the New Year together, watching each other’s back so they should celebrate. As Victoria returns with the drinks, Phyllis questions about Victoria planning to ring in the New Year with Billy (Jason Thompson).

Young And Restless Spoilers – Nick And Victor Reunite

They bring Nikki into the room, Victor (Eric Braeden) emerges telling Nate to believe everything he has heard about Victor. Nick is completely shocked to see his father.

Rey talks to Mia about going to a fancy restaurant, with a live band but she says she will understand if he has to work. He tells her he is putting her first and to prove it, he shuts his phone off, saying she has him until midnight.

Devon talks to Cane, glad he showed up, suggesting he take it easy on the alcohol until he has some food. Abby talks about how they can watch the ball drop from different time zones but their conversation is interrupted by Lola’s phone that keeps ringing. She informs everyone that she didn’t invite Kyle (Michael Mealor) because they broke up right before Christmas. Fen offers her a chocolate martini while she cries on his shoulder; Arturo wants to know what he did to screw things up. Ana and Abby feel they need to nudge Lola in the right direction, right around midnight as its clear she isn’t over Kyle.

Nick confronts Victor about not being there with Nikki, but he reveals he was there Christmas when Nick was with the children. Nate believes its true as Victor says he is taking Nikki to a place where she has peace of mind. He also wants to keep her safe from the bastard that tried to kill her, but when Nick questions him more, Victor says he doesn’t need to tell him where they are going but he suggests he says goodbye to his mother as he may not see her again for quite some time.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Confronts Victoria About Billy

Victoria insists her and Billy are only co-parents and friends; but Victoria questions Phyllis about her being so territorial. Victoria admits she was only a plus one for Billy at the jabot party, but she reminds Victoria if she reunited with Billy it would be the perfect fairy tale. Phyllis also admits she is enjoying her relationship with Nick but she isn’t ready to be a step mom to Faith and Christian. Victoria is leery about going backwards as she points to her future being forward.

Nick is furious Victor is disappearing with Nikki, asking if she even has a vote in this; Victor says she can leave any time she wants as Nick threatens to end this any time. Nikki wakes up and tells Nick to listen to his father. She reiterates to Nate that she is on board with this plan and begs Nick not to fight this. Nate examines Nikki while Victor reminds Nick this isn’t his decision to make and asks Victor if he is the one who killed JT.

Rey waits for Mia to come out, tries to check his phone but she walks out before he can. Rey loves her dress as he pushes her to go because the night isn’t getting any younger. Mia is trying to take a photo of them but his phone keeps pinging. He is sure they can ignore it, but he turns it off again as Mia thanks him saying he should see what he messages are about so he doesn’t have to worry about what is going on at GCPD. He reads a message that says it might have busted the case wide open.

Victor reminds Nick he probably had the same impulses to kill JT after what he did to his sister; but he assures Nick that he didn’t kill him. George is ready to transport Nikki onto the plane, but gives Nick a minute to say “goodbye” to her. She says this is better than the alternative; they exchange “I love yous” as she promises this won’t be forever but wants him to reassure everyone she is fine and to wish them all a Happy New Year from both of them. Victor tells Nate that it isn’t up for debate as he is coming with them.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Rey Gets Break In The Case

Rey reveals Nick made a call from as private air field and his team is on their way there. Mia tells Rey to go be with his team, saying she loves him and thanks him for trying; but no fancy hotel party is going to be worth missing out on him closing this case. She admits they both know where he needs to be and he is a cop. She tells him to be the amazing cop she loves so much.

Cane continues to drink when Devon asks him if he has heard about Lily (Christel Khalil); Cane admits he doesn’t want to disappoint anyone and doesn’t know how to do all of this. Lola talks to Fen about being in charge of an entire kitchen, but she receives encouragement from all of them. Her mood changes when Kyle walks in and spots her. She pulls Kyle over, learning that Abby invited him. He wants to talk things out, but she shoves him away.

Devon learns from Ana that her writer friend passed up the opportunity to be there; Fen reminds her that the writer should be there. Fen tells her someone with that much talent shouldn’t keep it to themselves; Ana smacks him in the stomach when Devon walks away. Cane approaches them, wondering where Nate is.

Nate tells Victor he was not prepared for this as he has a life, job and patients here in Genoa City. Nate is trying to bail out, but Victor reminds him he promised Nikki to take care of her at the best of his ability. Victor says if he walks out, there is no one there to protect Nikki. Nate agrees to go, but only for Nikki’s sake; Nate and George put Nikki on the plane. Victor hopes the day will come soon that they can all be reunited. Nick shakes his hand and tells him to take care of his mother.

Phyllis and Victoria polish off the bottle of champagne, toasting each other; but the second they do, they worry about reality of Nikki missing and no word from Nick. Phyllis holds Victoria as Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) walks in. Phyllis calls a car as Reed wants to know what is wrong. Victoria says his grandmother is doing better, but then out of nowhere she is gone and it looks like someone has taken her from the hospital. She says they believe it might have been the person who hit her with their car, but Reed shouts out, No!”

Victor apologizes to Nate, promising to take care of him no matter what as they are all in his debt. George tells them to prepare for take off, as Victor holds Nikki’s hand.

At Devon’s the countdown is on for New Years, while Mia watches it live on TV alone. Kyle walks out of the party when Lola kisses Fen at midnight, Cane is passed out on the couch as Devon stands outside, watching the fireworks. Nick watches as the plane leads to the runway but George tells Victor there is a problem and the runway is blocked by several police cars. George aborts take off, saying it is too late.

Victoria promises they are doing everything they can to find Nikki and help her recover; hoping the horrible person who did this will be caught. Reed says the person who kidnapped her is not the one who was driving the car and reveals he was the one who hit her. Nick watches from the gate as Rey arrests Victor, leaving Nate and Nikki in shock.
