Young and the Restless Spoilers for Monday, January 7: Nikki And Victor Reunited – Rey And Sharon Bicker – Reed Plans JT Ceremony

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) praising Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for capturing and charging Victor (Eric Braeden). She flirts with him, saying she only wants the world to know what she knows about him being smart, talented and the sexiest man alive. She kisses him, but he says he needs to get to work, while she needs to prepare for her next client.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is able to see and hold Victor, she apologizes as he says it was his fault. Nikki feels coming back is what cost him his freedom and he wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for her. He encourages her to sit down, concerned about how weak she is, especially after she admits she checked herself out in order to tell him about her being the one who caused this whole mess.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Reed Busts Victoria Kissing Billy

Billy (Jason Thompson) feels rejected by Victoria (Amelia Heinle), as she reminds him that he is rushing. She can’t help but feel confused and dizzy; she says if they are going to do things again, it will have to be different. She knows he is the one who taught her how to let go, but JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) death has affected her. Billy agrees to take things slow because slow can still be good. Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) walks in on them kissing and says, “I guess you moved on from dad!”

Sharon (Sharon Case) sits with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) at the GCAC, finding it weird that Victor is behind bars while she was out of town for only 2 weeks. Sharon feels something needs to be done to stop this as Victor is not a murderer; Mariah wants to know what she is going to do about it. Arturo (Jason Canela) makes Mia scream when she comes out of the shower and he just walked in the front door.

Reed tells Victoria she doesn’t need to explain, but she reminds Reed that she has no intention of being with anyone any time soon. Reed likes Billy, but says seeing them together just threw him. Victoria feels like Reed should start to lead a normal life, like going back to school; but he doesn’t want to after his dad’s death and his grandfather being accused of the murder. Reed takes off as Victoria stops Billy from talking to him, saying there is more going on than he knows.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Fears For Mariah

Sharon is concerned Mariah could go to jail for keeping her secret. She defends her actions, saying that what she said on GC Buzz was all the truth. Sharon doesn’t feel Victor can’t be convicted for a murder he didn’t commit. Sharon knows the truth, thinking there is something she can do or say that will convince Rey Victor is innocent. Mariah tells her mom that she needs to be smarter than Rey.

Nikki reveals to Victor that she was drunk when she stepped off the curb and she is sure the person who hit her didn’t know. Victor feels bad for not being there when she started to drink and wants to know if it has something to do with JT.

Mia is angry that Arturo barged in, but he explains Sharon gave him the key to fix their thermostat. Mia scoffs that the Rosalez brothers wrapped around her finger. He feels that maybe Mia and Rey should communicate better. Mia says there is no way Arturo is staying in her home alone but he says there is nothing there he wants. Mia refuses to leave if Arturo is going to be there.

At GCPD, Sharon and Rey work on her victims for the day but he wants to know why she isn’t even going to congratulate him on arresting Victor. She listens to all the details, and is happy for Rey but can’t help wondering if he is sure about having the right man.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki And Victor’s Emotional Visit

Nikki says JT is the reason she started drinking again and Victor is furious that SOB did so much damage to their family. Nikki reveals she can’t get the image of him hurting Victoria and then JT trying to kill Victor at home and again in the hospital. She will never forget how helpless she felt. Victor admits he was scared that he would lose her because of the accident and he doesn’t know what he would do without her. She insists that Victor is the one who brought her back; he reveals the first time he laid eyes on her, all he wanted to do was protect and love her. Victor wants her to leave his getting out of jail to him, but she isn’t sure she can do that.

Victoria tells Billy that Reed and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) confessed to Nikki, but she blames the accident on herself and doesn’t want the police involved. Billy is worried about it, feeling lying to the cops is always risky. Victoria says both her and Cane (Daniel Goddard) will find suitable consequences for the boys. Billy feels like a jerk for pressuring her to get back together. She knows it is a lot to handle but she will take things one at a time; when Billy asks if she wants him to leave, she doesn’t as he promises to help her get through all of it.

Mia sets up her makeup at home, she talks about how Arturo took her TV for over 2 years before returning it and her purchasing a new one. Arturo talks about the article he read about Rey; she sings his praises and offers Arturo some coffee. She says her and Rey are working through their problems and although he has heard it before, he is glad. He reveals he is happy with Abby (Melissa Ordway), saying she is special. Rey suggests they go on a double date, but Mia thinks Abby sounds boring but toasts to them both getting what they want.

Rey presents Sharon with his case against Victor, and it is solid. Rey confronts her on her questioning and wants to know why she is defending such a despicable man like Victor. Rey feels it doesn’t make sense that she keeps sticking up for the Newmans, but before he can finish his sentence about how it looks like Sharon doesn’t want him to solve the case, Mariah walks in, telling him that Sharon told her she cannot wait for the JT case to be over.

Reed walks in on Billy wanting to talk to him. Billy says he is willing to let him benefit from his experiences, like running away from his problems but none of them work. Billy suggests he stops running away from everything else in his life, now that he has spoken to Nikki. Victoria wants him to believe in his grandfather, certain Victor is innocent. Reed admits that even if Victor is innocent, it won’t bring his dad back. He knows JT did some horrible things in his life, but he was a good dad and he never got the chance to say goodbye to him; something he needs to do.

Nikki refuses to go home to rest since Christine is twisting evidence to build a case against him. He asks if the only reason she is there is to help build a defense. She knows how Victor feels about JT and Victor wonders if she believes the GCPD is right and why is she so certain he is innocent?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mia And Arturo Get Close

Mia approaches Arturo, thanking him for talking to her. She is happy they are friends again and Arturo says she is one of the reasons things are going so well since he screwed up so bad with Mia, he wasn’t the man he wanted to be. He says his skills were lacking them, but she disagrees until he says it was his communication skills. They both laugh about how intense it was between them when they fought and when they made up too. Things get awkward and he gets back to work, as they both take glances of each other.

Mariah wants to know if there is anything new on Victor’s arrest but he has nothing. Rey takes a call when Mariah chastises Sharon for bringing up Victor but he quickly returns and encourages her to keep a professional distance and should read Victor’s rap sheet. She is worried that if Victor is cleared than Rey is going to pay for it; but he is sure this arrest will end in conviction.

Nikki doesn’t understand how Victor could ask her a question like that but he says the answer is because they love each other, and have unwavering faith in each other; no matter what Nikki is by his side. She loves and believes in him but that’s not the only reason she believes in his innocence. He tells her nothing else matters as she says she knows for a fact he didn’t kill JT.

Arturo finishes fixing the heater and suggests they find a more permanent solution for the furnace. She thanks him for coming by and happy their friendship is back on track. She hugs him tightly as he feels extremely awkward, saying he will see her around.

Rey stops Sharon from seeing her next victim, but he feels there is something else going on with Sharon. She says he has no idea what Victor is capable of but he reminds her that he would never want an innocent man to go down for something he didn’t do, especially since she considers him a good cop.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Reed Plans Ceremony For JT

Reed feels he really needs to say goodbye to his dad, as he thought he just left and Reed stayed mad at him for it. It is all one really bad dream and he needs it to be over. He suggests they do a memorial or ceremony for JT; Billy thinks its a good way of healing and moving on. Victoria reluctantly agrees to hosting it at the house.

Victor holds Nikki, saying he knows she wants to help him, but this is not the way to do it. He tells her to be quiet and never repeat those words to anyone. He will take care of the ridiculous charges against him and then everything else. He orders her to never talk of this again and kisses her.
