Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday August 23: Victor Warns Michael, An Arrest Is Made, and Chelsea Forms A Friendship with Sharon

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday August 23rd indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will warn Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about his alliance with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) forms a new friendship with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Michael has someone arrested.

Chelsea and Adam are at the Dive Bar, watching Sharon and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) embrace. Chelsea becomes upset and leaves, and Adam follows her. Sharon and Nick pull away from their hug, and Sharon apologizes if she gave Nick the wrong impression. Talk turns to Chelsea and Nick clarifies that he and Chelsea aren’t romantically involved. They chat briefly about Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), then Adam. Nick says he hopes Sharon’s finally seen Adam for the person he is.

Chelsea and Adam are at his place and she reassures him she’s fine, and that the embrace between Sharon and Nick was a friendly hug. Chelsea also states that she and Nick aren’t together, so it doesn’t bother her.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chick Is Taking Things Slowly

Adam remarks about Chelsea conning Nick, but she shrugs it off. She says she and Nick are taking things slow, then asks Adam how he felt seeing Sharon with Nick. Chelsea brings up Adam’s jealousy towards Nick and how he makes everything about him. She warns Adam the more he tries to manipulate everyone, then it’ll push them away and he’ll never get anyone to love him.

Later Chelsea arrives at Crimson Lights and talks about seeing Sharon all over Nick at the bar. Sharon remarks that Chelsea moved on from being a grieving widow to wanting Nick as a lover. Chelsea retorts by bringing up all of Sharon’s ex-husbands. The two continue to bicker and Sharon brings up Chelsea attacking her before leaving town.

Chelsea says she’s not a threat to Nick, but Sharon is because she causes a lot of drama. As the argument continues, Sharon admits she had a fight with Adam earlier. They stop arguing and the two women discuss Nick and Adam. Chelsea brings up how Adam was with her when he saw Sharon and Nick together, and Adam seemed upset. Chelsea thinks deep down Sharon loves Adam, but is afraid to admit it.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey And Arturo Rosales Make Amends

At the park, Nick is having his visitation with Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) when Victor arrives to see his grandson. As the three are talking, Adam is secretly watching. Nick talks about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Victor says the entire family needs to get together for dinner at the ranch. Victor then spots Adam and motions for him to leave.

Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) joins her sons Rey and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) at Society. Arturo and Rey bring up their past and apologize for causing each other so much pain. They forgive each other and say with time, their wounds will heal. Arturo says he hopes Rey will find a special lady one day. Rey brings up Sharon and says their break up was tough, but he’s doing fine. Celeste is overjoyed to see her son have made up and says this is what family is about. The three of the share a group hug before Arturo leaves for his flight to Miami.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are at Chancellor Park. Mariah vents to Tessa about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). The two go to the Dive Bar for dinner and look through the photos of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor ) and Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) wedding reception. The two chat about their life and Mariah says they’re perfect for each other and they kiss.

At Crimson Lights, Michael and his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bergman) are discussing him being elected the new district attorney (DA). Lauren says she’s proud of him. Victor interrupts their conversation to congratulate Michael and asks how he plans to use his newfound power. Victor remarks he’s happy Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) is out of the job, but inquires why Michael wanted the position so badly.

Victor then brings up Michael’s alliance with Adam. He warns Michael that Adam has threatened the family and when it all goes down, Michael better choose which side he wants to be on. After Victor leaves, a visibly upset Lauren worries about Victor’s threat, but Michael shrugs it off and says he can handle Adam. Lauren once again inquires how Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) plays into this, and Michael promise he’ll explain it later.

Michael arrives at the station and says he has a personal arrest he wants Rey to handle. Rey goes out to make the arrest and when Michael returns to the station later, Rey informs him the suspect has been caught.
