Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday January 10: Amanda Tells Billy About Her Ex, Phyllis Schemes To Get Chance Alone, and Nick and Sharon Reminisce About Cassie

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday January 10th indicate that Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about her ex, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tries to get alone time with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) reminisce about Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).

At Sharon’s place, she and Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) are planning a celebration for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). When Mariah arrives, she is greeted by Faith and the two talk about Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) going on tour. As the celebration continues, talk turns to Cassie and Sharon believe that she’s smiling down on them.

Faith brings up Cassie’s prediction that Sharon would have another daughter and wonders if she meant her and Mariah. Faith then goes down to the stables, leaving Sharon and Mariah to talk about Tessa. Mariah assures her mother she’s fine with Tessa going on tour. Sharon then talks about how she wants them to spend more time together and create memories.

Nick arrives at Sharon’s place, where they reminisce about Cassie. They hug each other and talk about how much they miss her. They then pull out the photo albums and look at pictures of Cassie. Sharon cries as she wishes Cassie could still be here. She then calms down and says there will be happy moments today. Nick talks about his plans for New Hope, and Sharon’s happy, she then makes a comment about tomorrow being better than yesterday.

After Nick leaves, Sharon gets a call to remind her of her biopsy tomorrow. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) arrives home and says he’s concerned about Sharon, she always seems overwhelmed. When he asks what’s wrong, Sharon responds about reminders about how precious time is. She then leads Rey upstairs.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Information about Amanda’s ex

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) meet Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Crimson Lights. They tell him their idea about the clinic for the New Hope clinic and offer him the position of overseeing the medical protocol. Nate says it’s an honor and accepts their offer.

Meanwhile, Billy is at home when he receives a call from his employer, who says he doesn’t have any work at the moment.

Amanda is at the Grand Phoenix with Phyllis when she receives Billy’s text. She excuses herself, and on the way out she walks by Nate and Elena.

Amanda and Billy arrive at the dive bar, and he apologizes for how he reacted the other day at Crimson Lights in front of Sharon. When Amanda asks if he’s ashamed of being her friend, he says that he didn’t want to arouse suspicion in Sharon. Amanda asks who or what Billy is trying to escape from, he says “myself”. He talks about how his family views him as a screw-up, and how Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) expects him to be a certain way. He says it will be easier once he’s accepted for who he is. Billy then asks about Amanda’s life because he wants to get to know her better.

She talks about how she became a lawyer after her friend was mugged. Amanda talks about meeting her soulmate, or the man she thought was her soulmate. She talks about her ex became controlling to the point where she broke up with him and had a restraining order placed against him. She then says her ex put a restraining order on her too. Billy says he wishes he could punch the guy, then says he understands why she wants a fresh start and is hesitant to start a new romance. They make a toast to their friendship, then Billy’s voiceover says he feels like he’s crossing the line.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Tessa prepares for the tour

Tessa at home when she receives at text from Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman). He’s excited about her joining him on tour and says this is a huge opportunity for her. After reading the text, Tessa looks at her suitcase.

Later Devon stops by and tells Tessa she has his support. Tessa asks Devon for a favor, she wants him to look after Mariah while she’s away, which Devon agrees to. Mariah arrives just as Devon is leaving. He wishes Mariah a Happy Birthday, then gives her a present. Mariah makes a comment about this being the worst birthday ever as a car arrives for Tessa. She’s hesitant to leave, but Mariah reminds assures her everything will be fine and when Tessa returns she’ll be a big star. Tessa thanks Mariah for believing in her and the two share a kiss. After Tessa leaves, Mariah breaks down.

At the Grand Phoenix, Phyllis and Amanda are chatting. Phyllis talks about Amanda being a driven woman and how it must show in her work. Amanda says the same thing to could be said for Phyllis, who is determined to get what she wants. Phyllis then watches Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) with Chance.

Phyllis then turns her attention back to Amanda and says it’s not dull being friends with her. Phyllis then brings up how the Abbotts and the Newmans always need a lawyer. Amanda brings up Phyllis being married to an Abbott and a Newman, which prompts Phyllis to talk about her exes. When Phyllis mentions Billy’s name, Amanda perks up.

Chance is at the bar with Abby toasting to his new job, then he glances in Amanda’s direction.

After Amanda leaves, Phyllis calls up someone and says she needs a favor. Abby and Chance’s celebration is cut short when she’s called away for an emergency. After she leaves, Phyllis walks up to Chance and asks if she can join him. Chance says he knows Phyllis’ game and can see right through her, but admits she keeps things interesting.
