The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, March 20, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will take steps to look into his father’s past. As Y&R viewers know, Adam was recently at his mother’s farm in Kansas when he ran into his childhood friend Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). When Alyssa visited Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she revealed that her father had died under mysterious circumstances.

Her dad, named “AJ Montalvo,” fell to his death, and Alyssa said that she always felt that there was more to the story about his death. And when Adam gave the matter some thought later, he remembered that he and his mother never went to AJ’s funeral. That stood out as an odd detail, especially since Adam also remembered that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was in town during that period of time.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Searches For Information About Victor Newman’s Past

Well, that led Adam and Chelsea to openly wonder whether Victor might have had something to do with AJ’s death, or at least whether he knew anything about it or perhaps had dealings with AJ. On Friday’s episode of the Young and the Restless, Adam will go on a mission to find out more about Victor’s past in order to see if there might be a connection there.

We’ll see exactly what Adam digs up, but it appears that he might start by looking into the circumstances surrounding AJ’s death. Since he allegedly fell to his death, Adam might wonder if he was, in actuality, pushed. He’ll probably want to dig up some old news articles about the incident or perhaps ask around among the locals in the Kansas town.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman Cautions Victoria Newman

Meanwhile, on Friday’s new episode of Y&R, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be cautioned by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). As Y&R viewers know, Victoria recently tried to come back to work at Newman Enterprises, to see whether she was ready. But she quickly learned that she wasn’t up for it just yet.

Of course, Y&R viewers know that Victoria has a long way to go to heal from the traumatic event she’s been through. The stabbing was terrifying for her, plus she’s still dealing with her breakup from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Perhaps Nikki will caution Victoria to just take things slowly and work through her issues before she even thinks about returning to work.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Fishes For Information From Chelsea Lawson

Finally, Chelsea will find herself in the hot seat. According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, she’ll end up being grilled by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about something on Friday’s episode. Of course, Nick is not a fan of Chelsea’s relationship with Adam at all, and he might have some questions for Chelsea about what Adam is up to regarding Newman Enterprises.

Y&R viewers will remember that Adam recently visited the Newman Ranch, during which he claimed to be happy that Victor had given the CEO position to Nick. Of course, Nick didn’t buy Adam’s act, and he assumed that Adam was up to something. And Nick’s right – it was all an act on Adam’s part, as he was really at the ranch to fish for information about what Victor knew about AJ’s death.

At any rate, Nick will probably want to ask Chelsea a few questions and see what she knows about Adam’s motivations where their father and Newman Enterprises are concerned. But since Chelsea is steadfastly on Adam’s side in this matter, she’s probably going to be wary of Nick’s questions, and she’ll likely be tight-lipped with details. She might even report back to Adam about all of Nick’s questions.
