Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that things are getting crazy in the land of Genoa City, and it looks like fans will continue to see things escalate the week of October 7-11.

The proverbial poop has hit the fans since Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) seemingly killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and then dumped her body over a bridge into the river. Sharon thought that she could delay an investigation; however, things got intense during the week of September 30-October 4 when Heather’s lifeless body surfaced.

Now an investigation has been launched, but despite Sharon’s best efforts to try and hide what she’s done, things may only go downhill from here.

Y&R spoilers hint that Sharon has a plan to frame Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) for Heather’s murder, and her “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) hallucination gave her the idea.

It’s a “kill two birds with one stone” concept – she frames Daniel, shifts the suspicion from her, he goes to jail, and she gets off scot-free.

She’ll attempt to roll this out on Monday, October 7, but it looks like she’ll slip up in the process.

As fans know, Sharon still has the bloodied towels she used to clean up the apartment after Heather’s demise.

Added teasers note that in an effort to get Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) out of their apartment (so she can go in and plant the evidence), she’ll send Daniel a text from Heather’s phone, pretending to be a stranger who’s found the device. She’ll organize a time to meet Daniel at the GCAC to pass the phone back but leave him high and dry.

Instead, Sharon will sneak into the apartment, stash the bloodied towels in a cabinet in the condo, and head back home. The next step, thanks to “Cameron’s” urging, is to phone the cops with a tip that Daniel was the one behind Heather’s demise.

What Sharon didn’t count on was that her former boyfriend, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has re-entered the PCPD and is now on Heather’s case.

Y&R spoilers for Monday’s show reveal that Chance will run into Daniel at the GCAC, as he’s waiting for said stranger to return Heather’s phone. During the conversation, Chance will ask if Heather had password protection on her phone.

Fans may recall that “Cameron” revealed how brilliant it was of Sharon to take the phone and activate the face ID function on Heather before throwing her over the bridge.

This enabled Sharon to reset the password so she could use the mobile to manipulate Heather’s loved ones into believing she left town for a bit.

As soon as Daniel acknowledges that Heather did have this function, Chance will believe this to be quite suspicious. After all, if Heather had that password protection, then how did the stranger unlock the phone to send the text to Daniel and meet up?

Y&R spoilers for Thursday’s show indicate that Chance will interrogate Sharon. A lot can happen in a few days, and all Chance would need to do is look at the condo’s surveillance tape (if there is any) or possibly locate Heather’s phone in Sharon’s car to put two together.

Sure, Sharon used an app to block the cell’s location, but the police may have the technology to override this.

No meds or not – Sharon’s taken a major dive into her dark side and done some awful things over the past few weeks. She’s crossed lines, left, right, and center, so if the opportunity strikes and she believes she’s being pushed into a corner, could she end up hurting or even killing Chance, too?
