Young And The Restless Spoilers: Melissa Claire Egan Talks Y&R Return, Tension And Big Chelsea Drama

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be returning on Friday. June 28. ET Canada spoke with the talented actress and they asked her what’s ahead for her character. She said that it’s going to be pretty intense for a while and the Y&R fans will be shocked to see the twist in the storyline.

Here’s what you need to know about what ahead on Y&R.

Egan shared that Chelsea will be back on Friday and she will be working hard to make amends with those she hurt. Y&R fans will remember that when she left town, she revealed that she stole a bunch of money from Fenmore’s with her counterfeit dresses.

And, that’s not all, she kept a huge secret from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), too. She knew that Christian Newman (Tobias twins) was Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) son but she kept quiet about it until she decided to leave.

Nick and the rest of Genoa City will not be happy to see her at first. They will wonder why she returned because she has proven she only does something if she is backed into a corner. And, Egan says they may not be wrong. When it comes down to it, Chelsea is and always will be a con artist.

As for Adam and Nick, it will get pretty complicated. As Y&R fans know, Chelsea and Adam have a lot of history. They seem to love each other and want a good life for their son. However, there’s a darkness in Adam that Chelsea tried to overlook. She thought she could domesticate him and his darkness would go away. However, it didn’t work.

Then there’s Nick. Y&R fans will recall that Chelsea and Nick were good together too. When she left him, she broke his heart. He thought they would get married and raise the boys together. But it didn’t happen. And, when she left, she wrote him a letter disclosing Fenmore’s money scheme and the identity of Christian’s real dad.

Can Nick forgive her for leaving him? Will Chelsea want to be with Adam? These are questions that will be answered in the next few weeks!
