Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday January 20: Kyle Punches Theo, Rey Comforts Sharon, and Phyllis Plots To Sabotage Abby’s Date

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday January 20th indicates that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) punches Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) tries to cheer up Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) sabotages Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) date.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Phyllis ruins Abby’s date
Abby is at the Grand Phoenix, all dressed up. Phyllis makes a snarky comment about her outfit, then learns Abby has a date with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Abby comments about how Phyllis is always following Chance’s every move, then says she’s not intimidated by her. Chance arrives to pick up Abby and Phyllis continues to make snide comments. Phyllis watches as Abby and Chance leave, and smirks.
Later Abby and Chance arrive back at the hotel because their reservations were cancelled. Phyllis continues with her snarky comments before leaving. After she leaves, Abby and Chance decide not to let this ruin their evening.
Abby and Chance go to Crimson Lights, and he talks about how Genoa City is a special place to him. Chance then puts a quarter in the jukebox, and he and Abby dance.
Later Chance and Abby go back to the Grand Phoenix, and he invites her to come up for a nightcap. Phyllis watches as the two get onto the elevator.
When the fire alarm is pulled, Abby and Chance head back to the lobby, where Phyllis appears in a robe. Chance says if someone deliberately pulled the alarm, there will be blue dye on the culprit. Phyllis flashes some skin to show she’s clean, then says she hope his and Abby’s date was ruined. Abby and Chance decide to end their date when she has to deal with the false alarm.
Later when Phyllis is alone, she pulls out a pair of gloves with blue dye on them.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Kyle punches Theo
Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) are at Society arguing about Jabot’s upcoming business dinner. Theo arrives as the two continue to argue. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle arrive as Theo cheers Lola and gets her smiling. Theo’s in a good mood, while Kyle appears tense. As Lola goes to prepare the meal, a problem occurs and she bring Summer into the kitchen. The electricity is off and the restaurant is running on a generator. Summer panics, but Lola has a solution. She’ll bring in her food truck. Summer agrees it’s a good idea and they’ll make it work.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Theo are arguing about their work. When Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) arrives, Jack greets her and introduces her to Theo. Jill says she admired Theo’s grandfather, then takes him aside so they can talk. Jack warns Kyle that he needs to finally accept Theo as part of the family.
Later in the evening, Jill watches as Theo taunts Kyle. She tells Jack that in a good way, Theo is dangerous.
After dinner is over, Summer and Lola breathe a sigh of relief that they could save the party. Kyle then gets up to make a speech and thanks Summer, and reluctantly Theo for their help. Kyle watches as Theo sneaks off into the kitchen, and follows him. He listens outside the door as Theo compliments Lola on being an amazing woman. Kyle then comes in and punches Theo. Lola screams at Kyle and asks what the hell is wrong with him as she helps Theo. Theo then leaves and tells Summer that Kyle lost it. He says that he hasn’t crossed any lines, and that he and Lola are just friends. Summer responds there’s no telling how far he’ll take their friendship.
Theo leaves, while Lola and Kyle are arguing in the kitchen. Kyle gels Lola that Theo’s trying to manipulate her, and she responds that Kyle continues to think the worse of Theo. Lola mentions the reason Kyle probably hates Theo is because he’s not a blue blood, and he can’t understand Theo’s point of view. Kyle then brings up how Lola can understand Theo. Lola reminds Kyle she doesn’t act jealous over Summer because she trusts him. Kyle says this is a different situation because Theo is playing her and she’s not stopping it. Kyle then storms out.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Rey cheers up Sharon
Rey and Sharon are at her house, snuggled up on the couch eating popcorn. Rey notices Sharon’s mind appears to be elsewhere and suggests they play cards. They play Gin Rummy and Sharon wins the game. She thanks Rey for cheering her up, but then she becomes distracted again. Rey goes to get Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to help cheer up Sharon.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Mariah’s surprise
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is at her apartment, trying to get in touch with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). She soon gets a text from Tessa saying a surprise is being delivered. There’s a knock at the door and Mariah answers it to find Tessa. They hug, and Tessa says she’s only here for a few hours and suggest they make the most of their time together.
The two make love and afterwards when they’re talking, Mariah says this is what she needed. When Tessa asks what’s wrong, Mariah says she doesn’t want to talk. Tessa continues asking what’s going on and Mariah says they’ll discuss it more when she’s home again.
Tessa says she’s unsure when she’ll be back and Mariah responds with a comment about people you love leaving you. Tessa tells her that’s all nonsense. The couple plans to have dinner, but Tessa realized it’s almost time to go. After Tessa leaves, Mariah leans against the door.
