Y&R spoilers hint that both Daniel and Summer may suffer from guilt. After all, they both shunned her right before her passing, and they’ll likely regret the precious time they wasted with their mom. Especially Summer, who saw Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) strangle her mother right before she collapsed but chose to question Phyllis’s ethics instead of ripping into Jenkins.
As the old saying goes, life is short; we all don’t know how much time we have left, and anything can happen at any time. Summer and Daniel are just learning the true meaning of this, as they mourn the sudden and tragic loss of their mother.
