Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday January 2: Nick and Chelsea End Their Relationship, Victor Hosts A New Year’s Party, and Tessa Receives An Offer

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday January 2nd indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) end their relationship, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hosts a New Year’s party, and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) receives an offer.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman’s party

Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are at Society gearing up for the New Year’s party. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) arrive. Kyle goes looking for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), while Jack chats with Victor. Kyle and Lola share a moment together just as Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) arrives, Kyle greets Theo with a nod.

Summer Newman (Hunter King) comes in and chats with her grandfather. Later Theo is chatting with Lola at the bar, where she serves him his favorite dish. He then asks Lola to dance. As Kyle approaches the bar, Summer intervenes. Lola goes off with Kyle, and Theo tells Summer his resolution is to eliminate anything in his way.

Nick and Chelsea arrive as well as Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Nick, Chelsea, Abby, Chance, Nikki, and Victor chat. When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) comes in, Abby makes a comment about needing someone to keep the peace.

Later Victor goes to the bar to talk with Adam. Victor makes a crack about how his resolution is keeping track of his medications. Victor then turns serious as he says he’s happy Adam is taking care of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Meanwhile, Nikki is chatting with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Nikki suggests maybe it’d help if Billy attended a meeting. Victoria expresses her fears about Billy falling back into old habits.

Nikki then joins Adam at the bar and says she pulled some strings and the principal agreed to keep Connor at Walnut Grove.

As the evening winds down, Victor gathers everyone for a toast to the past year. Jack then offers a toast of his own to commemorate Victor and Nikki’s anniversary. As every toasts to the happy couple, Victoria looks at her phone, but doesn’t see anything from Billy.

Billy arrives at Society and joins Victoria as everyone’s counting down to midnight. Victor and Nikki kiss as well as Chance and Abby. Nick then joins Summer and they talk about how the new year will be the best one yet.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday January 1: Adam Kisses Chelsea, Phyllis; Change of Plans, and Nick Celebrates His Birthday

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman and Chelsea Lawson end their relationship

Nick and Chelsea are mingling with guests at the party, and Nick spots Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) coming in. Phyllis pulls Chelsea away for a moment to discuss the slow business at the Grand Phoenix. She then comments on Chelsea stringing Nick along and not doing more to discourage Adam about a reunion.

As Phyllis walks off, Summer stops her and accuses her of causing trouble in hope of reuniting with Nick. Phyllis states she doesn’t want to get back together with Nick or anyone, but she steals a glance at Chance. Phyllis later runs into Chance, and makes a comment about how she’s not like Abby. Phyllis also says she can keep a secret, if she wants to.

Victoria tries to talk with Nick, but he brushes her off to check on Chelsea. When Nick asks Chelsea about Phyllis, she says she doesn’t want to discuss it.

Later Nick is talking with Jack about his fear that he’s losing Chelsea. He believes that the only reason Chelsea’s with him is because he’s her safe choice. Nick then pulls Chelsea aside and says she should be with Adam and he’s letting her go. Chelsea tells Nick he’s a wonderful man and thanks him. They share one last kiss and hug, which Adam sees. Thinking Chelsea is staying with Nick, Adam leaves.

A sad Adam is back at the penthouse when Chelsea arrives. The music starts playing as the fireworks begin outside. She holds his hand and they gaze lovingly into each other’s eyes.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott and Amanda Sinclair ring in the New Year

At the dive bar, Billy meets with Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan). He says that he can be himself when he’s with her. Amanda says she feels the same way, then says in high school she felt free, but that changed when she became a lawyer. Billy says he can relate and says leaving Jabot was the best decision he made because he feels more alive. Billy again talks about being himself, and Amanda says she doesn’t want to feel so in control all the time. Billy says if she ever wants to talk to give him a call.

Y&R Spoilers – Tessa Porter’s offer

At Crimson Lights, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are preparing for their own celebration. Tessa and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) arrive for the celebration. Mariah says that Tessa will be providing the entertainment. Sharon takes the microphone and introduces Tessa to the customers. Tessa performs, then afterwards shares a kiss with Mariah. Later Tessa receives a text from a musician named Tanner Watts, who wants to schedule a meeting. Mariah is excited about the opportunity, but Tessa seems unsure.
