Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, January 23 – Chance Worries About His Secret With Adam – Kyle & Summer Hit The Road – Chloe’s Confession

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 23, tease that the action is really heating up on the CBS soap. But before we get to that, we have a programming note. As you probably are aware, Y&R didn’t air on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the impeachment hearings. Assuming that CBS gets back to regular broadcasting on Thursday, we have the scoop about what you can expect right here.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Abbott & Summer Newman Prepare For Their Business Trip

First off, at Jabot, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will prepare to leave for their business trip. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be proud, saying that he’s chosen the right team for this mission, as Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) overhears. Theo will note that he’ll hold down the fort until the duo returns, and Kyle will say that he’s expecting him to do just that.

Jack will then call Theo into his office for a talk about the tension that he’s noticed between Theo and Kyle. Theo will try to explain that he and Kyle have different ways of operating. Ultimately Jack will tell Theo that he’s noticed him needling Kyle and that he’s now spoken to both of them about it. Jack won’t want it to continue, and Theo will indicate that he’s crystal clear on that.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe Mitchell Watches In Disgust As Adam Newman & Chelsea Lawson Canoodle

Next on Y&R, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will talk at the Grand Phoenix. They’ll note that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will head back to school today – it will be his first day back after being expelled last year. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be on hand at the hotel as well, and she’ll catch a glimpse of Adam and Chelsea kissing, which she’ll scoff at.

Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday January 22: Adam Learns Chloe Saved His Life, Fen Shocks His Parents, and Phyllis Encourages Summer To Get Kyle Back

Across the lobby, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will chat, with Chance noting that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is busy all week. They’ll banter for a while, and finally Chance will agree to a dinner date with Phyllis.

Later, Adam and Chance will catch up, and Chance will say that they have a problem. He’ll proceed to tell Adam that “she” has gone off the radar. Adam will insist that everything is ok and he has it under control. Chelsea will watch from across the room as the men’s tense conversation takes place. Ultimately, Adam will say that “she” will surface when it’s time to cash one of the checks he regularly sends her. Chance will hope that’s true.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman Learns That Chloe Mitchell Saved Him

Next on Y&R, at Crimson Lights, Chelsea and Chloe will enjoy some time after school with Connor and Bella Fisher (Cali May Kinder). Connor and Bella will get along well, and Chelsea and Chloe will gush as the kids hold hands. Chloe will note how wonderful it is that Connor is looking at Bella through Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) eyes. It will be a touching moment.

Adam will arrive and Chloe will introduce him to Bella. Chloe and Adam will then speak privately, and Chloe will inform Adam that she’s not falling for his act and that she should have left him to die out in the street, Adam will then put two and two together and realize that Chloe is the person who saved him when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tried to run him over.

Chloe will maintain that she did it for Billy, not him. Adam will try to tell her that he’s going to make Connor and Chelsea happy, but Chloe won’t really be having it. Later, Chelsea will question Adam about the conversation she witnessed from afar between him and Chance, and Adam will note that there’s nothing that she needs to know.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Fen Baldwin Tells His Parents About His New Plans

Next on Y&R, at Society, Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) will chat with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). They’ll talk a bit about everything Fen has been through, and Devon will say that on Fen’s next tour, they’ll provide plenty of support for him. But Fen will politely turn him down, saying that he’s all about protecting his sobriety now. Devon will understand and wish him the best.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will then arrive and Fen will tell them that he’s not going back on tour, and that he’s moving to Nashville. He’ll say that he’s got a plan to live with some sober friends, and that he has a new position at a recording studio. His parents will be happy, but Lauren in particular will be sad to see him go.

At the bar, Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will tell Devon about her marital problems with Kyle. She’ll explain their fight, and that it scared her. Kyle will then drop by the restaurant as he’s headed out of town on his trip. He won’t want to leave with things unsettled, but Lola will say that they’ll talk when he returns. Later, Theo will walk in, but he’ll leave after seeing Lola.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman Worries Phyllis Summers

Finally, on the next episode of Y&R, Summer will drop in at the Grand Phoenix to see Phyllis before she leaves on her trip with Kyle. Phyllis will learn that Summer is taking her lucky necklace with her, and in the course of their conversation, Summer will mention just how important this trip is for Kyle.

That will worry Phyllis, who will wonder if Summer is considering going after Kyle again. Phyllis will hope that’s not the case, but she’ll note that Summer could easily get Kyle back from Lola if she wanted. Kyle will then arrive to get Summer and leave for their trip, and Phyllis will watch them as they leave.
