Stability. Yes, that’s what Billy throws off in Vickie’s life. Like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’s a similarly destabilizing force.

The above is an arguably apt and therefore intriguing comparison. Has Vickie been drawn to Billy because he shares some of Victor’s known qualities? It seems that the answer is yes, a point that’s surely true for many other halves of couples in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

In knowing the above, or maybe in spite of it, Vickie wants nothing more to do with Billy, but is moving back to the Ranch in order to recover. While it’s an understandable choice, will that result in Vickie regaining stability?

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Doesn’t Want A Relationship Repeat

Billy isn’t Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes). So any legitimate comparisons that could be made between Billy and Victor, where Victoria is concerned, do not lend themselves, even for consideration sake, to Amanda’s situation.

Amanda rightly believed that Ripley wasn’t a threat because he never acted in a violent way toward her when they were together in Madison, Wisconsin. But he snapped after she ended their relationship and moved to GC.

Resisting Billy’s overtures makes sense, as the horrific outcome Amanda just experienced with Ripley naturally makes her hesitant to allow a new romantic connection to develop. Establishing what is a friendship with Billy surely leads viewers to believe that ‘Bamanda’ will be more than a tease.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott’s Nerves Are Frayed

Last summer’s sad breakdown at the Chancellor boat house confirmed a turning point in Billy’s life. He needed help in order to recover and did pursue professional and personal healing avenues for awhile.

But Billy tired of the efforts he was making, mistakenly pronounced himself healthy and has been reeling ever since. Leaving Vickie and their children as part of his run from reality. Turning to Amanda is his attempt to start fresh, which is what Morgan’s new alter ego is trying to do as well.

Two people in fragile states might be good for each other. Then again, they could prove to enable unhealthy decisions.

With ‘Villy’ gone, ‘Bamanda’ is Billy’s next choice. But Amanda has yet to agree to anything, though it seems like she will eventually.
