Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, October 23: Chelsea Lets Connor Live with Adam – Devon Shocked by Cane’s Will Proof

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 23, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make it back to Genoa City with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). At Nick’s house, Adam visits a sleeping Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who quickly awakens. After Adam assures Connor that he’s not going to leave again, Connor pushes to live with his dad.

Adam points out that it’s up to Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), so she caves in. Nick is irritated, but Chelsea notes that the situation’s temporary. She wants to take Connor over to Adam’s penthouse alone, but she urges Connor to tell Nick goodbye first.

At Adam’s place, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) does some snooping thanks to her sneaky security upgrades. Adam interrupts Phyllis’ spying to reveal she’ll have to leave. Phyllis is happy to hear Connor will be living with Adam, but she’s surprised that Chelsea and Nick are OK with it.

Afterward, Chelsea gets Connor settled and establishes that he’ll follow the rules while he’s there. Once Chelsea exits, Connor plays videogames with his dad. Adam lets Connor know that he never stopped loving his son. He signs Connor’s cast for him and assures the kid they’ll be inseparable now.

Over with Chelsea, she heads back to Nick’s place and insists she did what she had to do. Chelsea feels she would’ve lost Connor forever if she hadn’t. At the Grand Phoenix, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) discuss the latest will developments. They debate telling Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), who struts by at one point.

Jill ultimately calls Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and admits they have proof the will was falsified. Devon disconnects, but he later texts them to come over. Meanwhile, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) get a text that sends them to the penthouse, too.

Before Nate and Elena arrive, Devon meets with Cane, Jill and Amanda. Jill protests that she still doesn’t buy Amanda’s story about working for Chance Chancellor. Talk turns to Cane’s proof, which he shows Devon. Jill and Cane acknowledge that Devon now has a moral decision to make. There’s nothing they can do legally, so it’s up to Devon to figure out what’s next.

After Amanda, Cane and Jill take off, Elena comes home with Nate. They hear what went down, and Devon rants about Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) leaving her money to somebody who wasn’t even related to her. He struggles to make sense of all this, and Nate contemplates what Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) would tell them.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Runs In To Amanda

Back with Cane and Jill, they consider Devon’s difficult situation. Jill’s curious what Cane will do if Devon leaves everything as is. Will Cane be able to let this go? At the Grand Phoenix again, Phyllis runs into Amanda and reveals she’s her new neighbor. With these two fierce personalities so close to each other, things could get interesting!

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) catch up a bit. The conversation eventually shifts to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Sharon doesn’t think Rey’s all that interested since he didn’t follow up on their next date. Once Rey appears, Mariah makes excuses and bails. Sharon and Rey indeed make plans for another date, which pleases Mariah when she gets updates later.
