Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Cane Be Killed?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that the character Cane Ashby (Daniel Goodard) will meet an untimely demise.

A few weeks ago news broke that Daniel Goodard has been fired from Y&R. The actor and his character were popular with Y&R fans.

Cane’s relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) became a focal point of the show. Nicknamed Lane, the couple was popular with fans who watched as the pair dealt with one drama after another.

Their most recent drama was when Lily went to prison for the death of Hilary Curtis (Mishel Morgan). With Lily’s absence, Cane has a difficult time raising the kids by himself. This caused a lot of stress in the couple’s marriage, and when Lily discovers that Cane kissed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) she was furious.

Upon her release from prison, Cane tries to save his marriage to Lily, but she went through with her decision to divorce him. After Lily left town, Cane found himself involved in a scandal involving Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will. Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) claimed Katherine’s Will was forged and the new documents named Cane as the heir.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) gave up his $2 billion dollar inheritance to Cane. Now, it’s been revealed that Cane’s father Colin Atkinson (Tristian Rogers) is behind the will scam, and that Cane knew of his father’s plan.

With Cane conning Devon out of his fortune has caused Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) anger to flare up. Billy has a history of mental issues, and his therapist warned the slightest thing could set him off. Billy is furious that Cane has not only hurt Devon and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), but also tarnished Katherine’s legacy. Billy’s anger could have his dark side re-emerging, and making Cane his new target.

The show seems to be foreshadowing that things aren’t going to end well for Cane. Rumors say that Billy’s going back to the dark side and Cane may be the cause of it. With his anger towards Cane at all time high, Billy will take matters into his own hands to make sure Cane never hurts anybody again.

      If Cane is killed off what does it matter, the way the writing goes these days he could shave his legs, put on a red wig, inappropriate dress and come back as Phyllis’s twin sister. Oh course he would have to start overacting and snoop and push him/herself into everything.

      I would rather have to watch a hook-up between Chance and Adam than either of them with Phyllis.
