Right now, they don’t see eye to eye on the role Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) should play at Jabot. Diane wants Jack to either step down and give his son a co-CEO role or get rid of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), while her hubby isn’t won over with either situation.

Y&R spoilers hint that if the truth comes out, Diane will likely go easy on Kyle while Jack will lose his mind. The new Ms. Abbott has a soft spot in her heart for her son, not that Jack doesn’t, but the betrayal of aligning with his family’s enemy (Tucker) would have Mr. Abbott spitting nails.

Kyle has been known to stray off before. After all, he once partnered up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who is his father’s ultimate nemesis. Crossing this line again will have Jack questioning Kyle’s loyalty to him and the rest of the Abbott clan.

Diane will undeniably go to bat for Kyle. She understands his frustration with his current career situation and is trying hard to give her son what he wants. While Tucker has promised that comfy CEO spot to Kyle, he’d be sharing that role with Audra.

Kyle seems okay with this, which will have Jack fuming. In his mind, his son is guaranteed control of the family legacy at some point, he just needs to wait his turn. Kyle’s lack of patience over this will have him looking like a brat in his father’s eyes, as well as a family traitor.
