Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) lied on on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But she did that in order to get the goods on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) is impressed with Abby’s mind. The explanation she offered, after dropping a handbag filled with what appeared to be super expensive accessories, confirmed that she was behind the three presumed robberies that took place at the Grand Phoenix Hotel (GPH).

But Abby went on to explain her way out of any legal issues by advising that the police were never called. She just wanted Chance to think that was done so his skills could be accessed and Phyllis’ could be revealed as a sneak, which she was.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Intangibles Are Very Appealing

The subsequent head of security job offer Abby made to Chance couldn’t possibly be as good as his federal job. Does GPH offer good health care, a pension plan, health benefits, or various other extras, and what is the salary?

Beyond the above particulars, Chance couldn’t possibly compare employment at a just-opened hotel to the security of working for the government in a position that his particular skills are well-suited for. Although there is one intangible that makes the hotel a potentially better place to work than his current gig.

Yes, her name is Abby. But, as Y&R fans know, this character’s romantic track record is very sketchy.

Y&R Spoilers – Chabs Looks Good Right Now

Chance is intrigued. Abby comes from a well-heeled family, is very successful in not one, but two new business ventures and, oh by the way, is gorgeous.

Having just returned to town, after having spent many years away from Genoa City, Wisconsin, Boaz’ character doesn’t seem to have a pre-existing relationship tie. This backstory point will need to be further explored, as Chance is surely someone who was involved with one, or more ladies while he was off-screen since 2011, as then played by John Driscoll (Chance Chancellor).

Regarding old times, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) used to be Chance’s significant other. She’s married to Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) now and Khloe has a child, so there’s no likely revisit of that storyline history coming. The preceding probably means that Abby ranks at the top of Chance’s personal considerations.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Connection Must Be Explored

Viewers haven’t forgotten that Chance and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) have some type of connection that apparently formed while they were both in Las Vegas, Nevada. Whether that impacts what Abby thinks of Chance remains unknowable.

Y&R appears to be developing a cool new couple. Assuming that Chabs emerges as expected, fans should see plenty of drama based on Chance’s adventurous nature and Abby’s colorful personality.

      So working for the FBI is not like a real job then, you can just leave and go back when it suits? Why would someone leave that type of job to sit in a hotel lobby and have to listen to trolls like Phyllis who have nothing better to do than stick their snout into people’s business. Seriously can her character get any more sad, pathetic and unbelievable? Save yourself Chance leave town before you get corrupted by the ongoing stupidity.
