Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) isn’t persuading anyone on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Hopes of returning to what life was like in Genoa City, Wisconsin, before the fabled cabin blast seem fully lost.
Whether he faces a crash, or is somehow redeemed, will be the path forward. Y&R’s next major plot point with this returned, recast, and reverse SORAS’d character must arrive soon.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam’s Ties With Phyllis, Chelsea, and Sharon
Having now alienated both of the impressive women who loved him in the past, Adam is left alone with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She can’t possibly be interested in a relationship with him.
Phyllis’ tell to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) seemed to prove the above speculative point. It seems as though Phyllis is trying to play Adam, with a hotel deal being part of the ruse.
Chelsea Boudreau (Melissa Claire Egan) just told Adam that they were certainly over. ‘Chick’, rather ‘Chadam’ looks like where Egan’s character is heading.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) also recognized Adam’s dark turn. Instead of ‘Shadam’, she seems likely to stick with ‘Shey’.

Adam appears intent on establishing legal rights to his sons and then clinging to them. But what if his courtroom goals don’t go as he hopes?
It would seem that full custody of Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) isn’t in the cards. Yes, that wink to ‘Spider’s’ Las Vegas, Nevada, days was purposeful.

At best Adam would seem primed to receive visitation rights, or possibly, shared custody of the character who hasn’t returned with Chelsea from Louisiana. Possibly Y&R is recast this role and maybe even SORAS’ing him older.
The Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) issue is different. Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) role in the life of Adam’s other biological son could be seen by a judge as crucial. But one would think that Adam will be allowed to see the child, even if no custody switch, or altering occurs.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lack of Love and Money
For now, Adam at least has Dark Horse and the remainder of the fifty million dollars that Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) foolishly gave to him. But his sister is intent on taking over the company Nick founded last year.
With Phyllis hardly a force that can be discounted, Adam could soon find himself without the love of a good woman and almost broke. Sure he’s resilient, but how would he get by within these GC walls?
Young And The Restless Spoilers – And Then There’s Victor
In a way that was unusually sincere, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) genuinely tried to give his never-dead son a helping hand, or more than one. The ‘Moustache’ made sure to bring him back from Vegas, offered him a home at the tack house, and wanted him to return to Newman Enterprises. This came along with Victor having worked to erase Adam’s prison sentence for beating a prison guard in 2016.

While Adam has slapped his father’s open hand, it could be possible that Victor’s love for his son doesn’t go unrequited. Braeden’s arc, where Victor is battling a rare blood disease, could be written where Adam rides the white horse.
Having Adam somehow save Victor would open redemption’s door, if that’s how Y&R wants to play it.

I really don’t like how the writers made Adam been so hateful but he had that right
to fight for what is his own. I think he is every bit like his father Victor but I think he
hates been named Adam Victor Newman Jr. While he is in the court, he should divorce
all the Newman’s also divorce Chelsea for real this time.
The writer is forgetting to blame Billy for leaving his little daughter in the alone in the car with a dog. Adam should be telling him this
Phyllis and Sharon should go away for a long time and Chelsea and nick should be left alone for good they should get the boys and live life from steve brum.
the blame is with Billy. All acting like adam intentionally ran over Delia. yes he was wrong not to come clean when he realized what had happen. but in the end it was an accident.
nick needs to go away and find himself. cant be alone for one minute. why the hell do they all think that adam has no right to his children? is any of them willing to give up theirs or adam’s

Billy to do her dirty work like kill Adam for real, and he talked to Jill before
she left, hope he listens and not go after Adam or try anything if he does he

I hate that Adam is so mean and ungrateful to everyone. I use to like him with Chelsea. I hope he does not get custody of his two boys — maybe visitation only. I would like to see Sharon stay with Rey for a change and not let Adam get to her. I hope Lola is strong enough to fight her mother on everything regarding her wedding. I hope Victoria and Bill stay together. I do not like the Caine and Traci story at all. Maybe it is time Caine left the story for good or bring back Lily to play opposite him — otherwise he is boring. Jack needs a woman in his life — get to this and maybe Jack will not go back to Phyllis.
The nuAdam is a total bust. The fans wanted the version that had a heart & was emotionally damaged with conflict. Josh Griffith is writing him as a psychopath. The new Genoa City’s #1 Villain can only lead to a murder & whodoneit? The character has been forever ruined. Just kill Adam off permanently and be done with it.
I hope Adam does get custody of his two son’s Connor & Christian

Here’s why nobody thinks Adam has any rights to Christian: ADAM signed away his rights to EVER be Christian’s Dad! Not only did Nick think he was the Dad, with Sage (now dead) as the Mom, but Adam deliberately tweaked the Paternity Test to show that Christian WAS Nick’s, and NOT Adam’s.
And then, when it all came out anyway, Adam signed away his rights! YEARS AGO!!! So in EVERY way (except sperm donation), Nick IS Christian’s Dad!!
You don’t rip a little boy away from the ONLY Dad he’s ever known, just because a zillion years later, Adam has changed his mind!!! It’s outrageous to do that to a child! That’s not love…

What’s wrong with you? Irregardless that’s his child. And nothing changes that. Nick was married to sage when Adam first decided that then everyone thought the child was dead. Then the Delia drama. He thought he was doing what was best for his child due to the circumstances. Circumstances change. He has a right to know his child and the child has a right to know his father.
Why is the man wrong for wanting to be in his children lives? From his so called family heard he was alive they were all about themselves. They were supposedly so broken up when he died and disgusted with victor for the role he played. Let’s not forget that. Chloe shoots him , Kevin kidnaps Phyllis thinking she was with Adam. Nick goes to Paul to implicate Adam in chelsea’s husband’s death. But Adam alone is the villain. Wow
Maybe nick should of been grateful to Adam for the sacrifice he made and allowed him to get to know his child.

Everyone conveniently forgetting Adam did not want to be named as Christian father. The DNA results were changed by him and Sage. He is just trying to get back at Nick. This Adam thing has been done to death, just like Victoria and Billy. Get rid of the character. Chelsea can move on to someone new or Nick.
I have been watching this soap since it’s inception! If the new writers think they have improved the story lines they have missed the boat. Even the dialogue has taken a nose dive. And what is the storyline between Cane and his gun moll ? After a zillion yrs. I am outta here!
