Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: How Does Kerry Exit Genoa City? – Alice Hunter Departs Y&R

Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: How Does Kerry Exit Genoa City? - Alice Hunter Departs Y&RDisappointing cast news recently broke about ‘The Young and the Restless’. Alice Hunter’s (Kerry Johnson) exit from the show means that her character will going on an “indefinite hiatus”. So what will Kerry’s exit storyline be?

Demonstrating true class, Hunter voiced gratitude for the experience she had and full fondness for her colleagues as she departed Y&R. Though the decision to leave wasn’t her own, she understood the nature of the soap business. The going away party that was thrown in her honor served to underscore the positive feelings she obviously generated from her on- and off-screen coworkers since Kerry’s debut last October.

In this particular plot instance, Kerry’s arrival as Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) replacement at Jabot was quickly coupled with romance. A nice pairing with Jack (Peter Bergman) took hold, which finally seemed to offer Mr. Abbott a chance at a stable post-Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) relationship.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Poor Jack Is Heartbroken

Will Kerry break Jack’s heart through some type of revealed betrayal? Let’s hope not, as Bergman’s character has so often been slayed, rather than aided, by Cupid’s arrow.

Might Phyllis turn the tables on Kerry, who’s agreed to work with Jack to bring Jabot’s current Chief Executive Officer down? That’s a possibility, as that scenario could leave Kerry feeling professionally adrift and in need of other career opportunities.

Hunter’s social media statement regarding Kerry earning an “indefinite hiatus” could be interpreted in many ways. That juicy hint might indicate that Kerry is somehow tied to the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) case.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Kerry Involved In JT’s Case?

Information about Y&R’s new top bosses changing Kerry’s role, from what past executive producer and head writer Mal Young intended, is very intriguing. This could mean that Hunter’s alter ego is being used as part of the final solution to the storyline that’s enveloped all things Genoa City since April 2018.

They haven’t killed off anyone in a car accident in a while. They could put Kerry in a large car, with Devon, Ana, the repulsive Reys, minus Lola, who dies before the liver transplant takes place, and drive that car off the cliff that Drucilla fell off of. And there would be no survivors. No blank stares from Devon, no yowling from Ana, no more Reys, no more krooked Kerry, whose gender would be uncovered during an autopsy.
(You dodged a big gullet, Jack. She’s a man!)
